And those who hold on to the Book and establish the prayer, We do not make the return of those who work for the good, go in vain.
Tafsir
Those who want to fulfill their duty of servitude to Allah, those who hold fast to the Book sent by Allah, those who keep the prayers, those who believe in Allah and the Hereafter, Allah will not waste the rewards they earn from their worship and devotion.
Those who pray the prayer properly, who pray in submission to Allah, who pray to fulfill their duty of servitude to Allah alone, without expecting any benefit from anyone other than Allah, are praying properly. When people pray in this way, they get rid of the masood in their hearts, that is, they become good people, free from grudges, hatred, suspicions and all evil. Thus, the prayer that a person performs is beneficial to him. In one of his hadiths, the Prophet (s.a.w.) says, "If your worship does not prevent you from evil, it is a burden on you.
Those who worship in this way, those who do good deeds for the sake of Allah, Allah says, "We do not waste the reward of those who do good deeds. The reason for this is that the reward is not lost. Since Allah is the owner of justice, good deeds and good deeds and bad deeds, i.e. sins, are written down, even if they are as small as a miskal particle. Since the good deeds will be subtracted from the sins earned, the rewards one earns will be diminished.
When Allah says, "We do not waste the reward of people who do such good deeds," those who are obedient to Allah, who do good deeds for the sake of Allah, who reform their nafs for the sake of Allah, who do not deviate from Allah's commands and prohibitions, are in a state of repentance, constantly asking forgiveness from Allah for the sins they have committed as human beings. Since Allah (swt) is Tawwab, He accepts repentance in abundance, and Allah (swt) will forgive the sins of people who ask forgiveness from Allah (swt) for the sins they have committed, those who practice such repentance and reform their souls for the sake of Allah (swt) will not lose their rewards because they are forgiven with repentance for the sins they have committed in their human capacity, whether intentionally or unintentionally, and the rewards of such people will not be lost in the sight of Allah (swt).
People who are in this state will fulfill their world and fulfill their Hereafter. People are sure of their condition. They do not think evil of people. Since these righteous servants see the creatures as Allah's creatures, they forgive and tolerate their mistakes for the sake of Allah.
What is said in the video
From the Book, according to Surah Al-A'raf, verse 170: As for those who hold fast to the Book and establish the prayer properly — indeed, We do not waste the reward of such people who strive for good. What does it say? As for the one who holds fast to the Book and establishes the prayer properly — indeed, We do not waste the reward of such people who strive for good, it says. Those who want to express the duty of servitude to Allah: there are those who, to the Book Allah sent, hold fast, and there are those who establish the prayer properly. The worship and obedience of those who believe in Allah and the Hereafter, and the rewards they earn from them, that is, the qualities they earn, Allah Almighty does not let go to waste.
What does holding fast to the Book mean? It does not mean hugging the Book. It means abiding by the Book, by the verses in the Book. That is, observing the (?) ruling. Doing whatever our Lord commanded of them and keeping away from what He forbade. Those who establish the prayer properly: those who, surrendering to Allah, from anyone but Allah, from anyone else, expecting no benefit, solely to fulfil the duty of servitude to Allah, perform the prayer. They perform the prayer properly. Through the prayers they perform in this way, people, from the (?) in their hearts, are freed. That is, freed from grudge and malice, from suspicions and all evil, they become good people.
This is how the prayer a person performs benefits him. In a hadith, the Prophet (peace be upon him) says: if the acts of worship you perform do not keep you from evil, they are a burden on you. Those who worship in this way, who do good deeds for Allah — Allah Almighty says: indeed, We do not waste the reward of such people who strive for good. The reward not being wasted here is because of this. Since Allah is just, good deeds and bad deeds, that is, sins, are recorded even if they weigh as little as an atom. Since good deeds are to be deducted for the sins earned, the rewards a person earns decrease. When Allah Almighty says "We do not waste the reward of such people who strive for good", those who obey Allah, who do good for Allah, who reform their nafs for Allah and do not step outside Allah's commands and prohibitions, and who, for the sins they committed as human beings, continually ask Allah Almighty for pardon and forgiveness, remain in repentance.
And since Allah Almighty, being Tawwab, accepts repentances abundantly, since, for the sins people have committed, those who ask Allah Almighty for pardon — Allah Almighty will forgive their sins — those who, remaining thus in repentance, reform their nafs for Allah, since for the sins they continually commit, knowingly or unknowingly and as human beings, they are pardoned through repentance, and so lose nothing of their rewards, the rewards of such people in Allah's sight are not wasted.
People in this state make both their world prosper and their Hereafter prosper. People feel safe from them. They do not intend evil toward people. These righteous servants, since they see created beings as Allah's creations, forgive the mistakes they make for Allah's sake and are tolerant. People are safe from the hands, loins and tongues of such people. Yes.
