Translation

(We have done so) also so that you would not say; “Our fathers have associated partners with Allah, and we were a generation that came after them (we followed them); are you going to destroy us because of those who committed wrongs?”

Tafsir

This verse also proves the previous verse. The covenant was given to Allah (swt) at the beginning (in Kalubala). The Worldly Realm is people's way of proving what kind of a person they are to Allah (swt) by acting as an actor in the scenario of the covenant they made in the past.

(Or our fathers used to associate partners with Allah, and we were a generation after them, will you destroy us because of those who committed falsehood?) They are blaming each other for the fact that their characters are the same and that they committed the same crimes, and that they did not recognize Allah before, and that they were rebels against Allah because of their arrogance and pride at the root.

The creation of souls by Allah (swt) in the realm of Lahut means that there are no parents there, as there is no birth or birth from each other, as there is no birth or birth in the worldly realm, as there is in bodies. Allah (swt) has sent people to an unseen realm. In order that people are not strangers to the realm of property, He makes them grow up with parents and bodies. Allah (swt) has entrusted people to each other. Mother and father accustom people to the environment and life. By Allah's command, the soul, whose turn it is, enters the fetus in the womb on the fortieth day of its conception, coming from the realm of the afterlife. This soul is entrusted to these parents.

When people make a covenant with Allah, those who disobey and rebel against Allah, when they see the punishment in the Hereafter, they will say to Allah: O Allah! Allah created these worlds so that they would not say: O Allah, I could not recognize You because You created me close to Your Essence, and if You had sent me to a world where Your Essence was not visible, see how I would have worshipped You. He also entrusted these people to each other. So that the parents who raised these people would not be blamed and so that everyone would be held accountable for what they did, a covenant was made with people in Kalubala. Everyone plays his/her own nature in the realm of property and holds himself/herself as a witness to Allah and the world around him/her and is held accountable for what he/she does in the Hereafter.

The fact that people know that their fathers and forefathers were on a bad path, and that they knowingly adopt the ways of their forefathers and follow them, shows that they are rebels against Allah at their root. Why can't they turn to the Prophets, who have entrusted them with the truth and who are wiser and more trustworthy than they are, and to Allah, who owns them, and judge by what Allah says? It is because the ways of their ancestors, which are pleasing to their souls, seem beautiful to them, so they cannot turn to the truth. As they denied Allah, they killed some of the Prophets, tortured some of them, and called some of them magicians or madmen. That is to say, they could not respond to the invitation to Allah (swt) because the root of it was rebellion against Allah (swt) and they did not like the invitation to Allah (swt). So their blaming each other, they have no obedience and respect for themselves and those who raised and nurtured them, so they should have respect for Allah. When a person blames the person who has wronged him for the evil he has done, it proves that they have no respect for Allah (swt), who is the one who is right and who has entrusted all blessings to mankind with mercy, and who says, "My mercy is for everyone in the universe". In this respect, Allah made a covenant with the people in the past (in Qalubala) and wrote their wills as destiny for them and programmed the worlds according to the covenants of the people with whom He made a covenant. No one can blame anyone else. The world realm is the realm of property, where people are acting as artists by dictating the script of a covenant they made (in Kalubelâ).

What is said in the video

Let's do 173 as well.

Or: Before, our fathers associated partners with Allah. We were a generation that came after them. We followed in their footsteps. Will You destroy us because of those who did falsehood? We did this so that you would not say that. Yes. What did He do it for? According to Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134: Had We destroyed you before the Quran, you would have said exactly this, it says. If only You had sent us prophets and books, so that we had not fallen into this base disgrace. So this verse proves the previous verse. That is, the covenant was given to Allah Almighty in the beginning, at Qalu Bala. The world is people playing, as actors, the script of the covenant they gave in the beginning, and proving to Allah Almighty what kind of person they are.

Or: Before, our fathers associated partners with Allah. We were a generation after them; because of those who did falsehood, will You destroy us? — their saying this: since their characters are the same, they commit the same crimes, in the beginning all together did not recognize Allah, and at root, out of arrogance and pride, rebelled against Allah, they shift the blame onto one another. In the (?) realm, since in Allah Almighty's creation of souls, unlike the bodies in the earthly world, there is no being born from one another or giving birth, there are no parents there. Allah Almighty sent people to a hidden realm.

So that people are not strangers in the material world, He has their bodies raised by mother and father. Allah Almighty gave people to one another as a trust. Mother and father accustom people to their surroundings and to life. By Allah's command, the soul whose turn has come comes from the realm of Barzakh and enters the embryo in the mother's womb on the fortieth day. This soul is, to this mother and father, a trust. So, those who, when people made a covenant with Allah Almighty, opposed Allah and rebelled, when they see the punishment in the Hereafter — so that they would not say to Allah Almighty, "O my Allah, since You created me close to Your being, I could not recognize You; to a realm where Your being is not seen, had You sent me, look how I would have worshipped" — for this, Allah created these realms. And He gave these people to one another as a trust.

And so that the parents who raise these people are not blamed and so that everyone, by what they did, can be called to account, He made a covenant with people at Qalu Bala. Everyone, playing their own (?) in the material world, takes Allah and those around as witnesses over themselves, and is called to account in the Hereafter for what they did.

That people, knowing their ancestors or fathers were on a bad path, knowingly — that these people adopt their ancestors' ways and follow after them shows that at root they rebelled against Allah. The prophets, who convey the truth and are wiser and more trustworthy than they are, and Allah, who owns them — why do they not turn to them and abide by what Allah says? Because the ways of their ancestors, pleasing to their nafs, seem good to them, that's why. They cannot return to the truth. Just as they denied Allah, of His prophets they killed some, and some they tortured, and of some they said "He is a sorcerer" or "He is mad".

So, since at root they were (?) toward Allah Almighty, since the call to Allah did not please them, they could not respond to this call. So, as for their blaming one another: toward themselves and those who raised and fed them they have no obedience or respect, so how could they respect Allah? If a person, for the evils he has done, blames the one who has rights over him, this in fact proves that toward the One who is the Truth itself, who through all blessings is made known to people with mercy, and who said "My mercy is for everyone in the universe", toward Allah Almighty, they have no respect.

For this reason, Allah, making a covenant with people in the beginning at Qalu Bala, wrote their wishes for them as their destiny, and programmed the realms according to the covenants of the people with whom He had made a covenant. No one can blame anyone. The world is the script of a covenant people gave at Qalu Bala being written, and them playing it as actors in the material world.
