They are wavering between them, belonging neither to these nor to those. For those who go astray from Allah, you won’t find a way.
Tafsir
Hypocrites cannot be attached to the People of the Book, nor can they be attached to the Muslims. They waver between both sides for the sake of their worldly interests. Once a man makes a covenant in rebellion against Allah. Then no one can guide him. Allah, Who has placed the will of man in His hands, determines his own path in His own destiny. Therefore, no human being can influence another human being, change his destiny and his life. People can be attracted to each other for a moment and then eventually return to their own desires and aspirations.
The hypocrites, in their covenant, are far from Allah, do not obey His commands, and desire to live their lives in their own desires and wishes, in their own way, longing for their own filthy and inhuman lives, are the reasons that prevent them from returning to Allah (swt). This is how they have written their destiny. Therefore, they will never return to Allah.
So a man who has deviated from Allah and has written his destiny in such a way, you will never find a way for him to return to Allah.
What is said in the video
Verse 143 goes like this: They keep wavering between these, belonging neither to those nor to these. Whomever Allah leads astray, you will never find a way out for him, it says. This is a verse that has been interpreted wrongly like this. A wrongly interpreted verse. Allah leads no one astray. Verse 143: They keep wavering between these, belonging neither to those nor to these. For whoever strays from Allah and does not want to come to the right path, you will never find a way out, we have written. Yes.
The hypocrites neither attach themselves to the People of the Book nor can they attach themselves to the Muslims. For their interests, for worldly gain, they keep wavering between both sides. Once a person gives his pledge to Allah as a rebel, no one can bring him to the right path anymore. Allah, who placed man's will in his own hands — within his own line of destiny he determines his own path himself. Therefore no person can influence another person. He cannot turn that person away from his destiny and his way of life. People can be influenced by one another for a moment. And in the end, to the lives of their own desires and wishes they quickly return.
So the hypocrites, too, within the pledges they gave — far from Allah, not obeying His commands, self-willed in their own desires and wishes, longing for their own filthy and inhuman lives and desiring them — these are the reasons that keep them from returning, returning to Allah Almighty. They have had their destiny written this way too. Therefore they never return to Allah. Yes.
So for such a person, who has strayed from Allah and had his destiny written that way, you will never find a way for him to return to Allah.
