Al-Ma'idah 54: Oh you believers! Those from you who turn away from their religion (should know that), Allah will bring a people who are loved by Allah and who love Allah, who are humble towards the mu’min and proud towards the infidels, who fight/struggle on the path of Allah and do not fear the blame of the blamers. This is a blessing that Allah gives to those who desire. Verily, Allah is Wasi (generous in Allah’s grace) and Aleem (All-Knowing).

Tafsir
In Islam, there are a few people who leave Islam after they have converted to Islam. These are called apostates. Their apostasy does not prevent the religion of Allah from spreading and its light from shining on the earth. Because Allah has programmed the worlds until the Day of Resurrection. In this respect, Allah says in His Verse: "Did they think that they could extinguish the light of Allah with the blowing of their mouths? This universe will complete its course with those who say Allah until the Day of Judgment.
Allah is able to bring such a people against the apostates and enemies of Islam that they will be kind among themselves and humble towards those who say Allah. They love Allah and Allah loves them. They are proud, mighty and honorable against the infidels. They wage jihad in the way of Allah. Such a people existed in history, and our ancestors, the Ottoman Empire, are meant. Regardless of the condemnation of those who condemned them, they defended Islam like a fortress against the kuffar, who aimed to eradicate Islam with crusading armies every ten years, and they helped the tribes who were suffering under the oppression and torture of the kuffar for the sake of Allah. They put an end to the torture of the weaker tribes. They did not give up jihad in the way of Allah. We cannot pass without mentioning a couplet here:
We obey the edict of love with our lives.
We don't have the slightest faith in the judgment.
We do not bow down to the world for yesterday.
Our trust and reliance is in Allah.
(He is so devoted to Allah's commands that he would give his life out of love. We will never refuse and consent to whatever comes from Allah, no matter what it is. We never bow our necks to anyone other than Allah for the world and its interests. All our tawakkul and submission is to Allah. He says).
Since the Qur'an addresses the past, the present and the future, Allah, who has programmed these realms with a program, is able to bring many more such tribes to the realm of property when the time comes, to balance the world, and to make them watch this world to the end with those who say Allah.
Allah does not leave the world in the hands of a single power and let it be owned by it. Nor does He transfer the world to the sovereignty of a state. Because Allah is the only and absolute power. He is the owner of the universe. Allah's grace and knowledge are vast. Whoever seeks guidance from Allah, Allah opens the paths of guidance for him. Allah, who encompasses the universe with His knowledge, is the owner of wisdom. He knows exactly what will happen where and when. Therefore, only Allah knows where, when and what kind of people Allah will bring. This is within the knowledge of Allah. Our duty is to put our trust in Allah by judging by His Verses.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 54. This too is a verse that has been interpreted wrongly.
Now, let us read the wrong version of verse 54.
O you who believe! Whoever among you turns back from his religion, let him know that Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble toward the believers, compassionate, honourable and tough toward the unbelievers. They strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the blame of any blamer. This is the grace Allah gives to whom He wills. Allah's grace and knowledge are vast, it says. Here, because it says "whom He wills", we got this part wrong: it is a grace He gives to whoever wishes, to whoever wishes. Let us read the correct one: O you who believe, whoever among you turns back from his religion, let him know that Allah will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble and compassionate toward the believers, honourable and tough toward the unbelievers.
They strive in the way of Allah and do not fear the blame of any blamer. This is the grace Allah gives to whoever wishes. Allah's grace and knowledge are vast. There — the Ottoman Empire. There — its continuation. It fears nothing. It does not flinch from danger. Yes.
In the religion of Islam there are, if few, people who leave Islam after becoming Muslim. They are called murtads. Apostates, that is. Their turning back from their religion cannot prevent the spread of Allah's religion and the shining of His light on earth, nor does it pose any obstacle at all. Because Allah has programmed the worlds until the Day of Judgement. For this reason Allah Almighty says in His verse: "Did they think that they would put out Allah's light with the blowing of their mouths?" This universe will complete its (?) with those who say "Allah", until the Day of Judgement. Allah Almighty is able to bring, against those who turn back from His religion and against the enemies of Islam, such a people that they are very compassionate among themselves and, toward those who say "Allah", are humble.
They love Allah, and Allah loves them. Toward the unbelievers they are proud, majestic and honourable. They strive in the way of Allah. Such a people exists in history, and what is meant is our forefathers, the Ottoman Empire. Without heeding the blame of blamers, against the unbelievers who every ten years, with Crusader armies, aimed to wipe out Islam, they protected Islam like a fortress. And to peoples groaning under the unbelievers' oppression and subjected to torture they gave help for the sake of Allah. They put an end to the torture inflicted on weak peoples. They did not give up striving in the way of Allah.
Today we are living the same thing, and the same. We rush to help wherever Muslim blood is shed, wherever there is oppression.
I say we cannot pass on here without mentioning a couplet of Suleiman the Magnificent. To the command of love we submit with heart and soul. To the decree of fate we have not the slightest defiance. We do not bow to the base for the sake of this lowly world. Our trust and our reliance are in Allah. Yes, its meaning: one is devoted to Allah's command with love, so far as to give one's life — that devoted.
Whatever comes from Allah, whatever it may be, one never resists it, and is content with it. To no one but Allah, for the world and worldly gain, do we ever bow our heads. All our trust, our submission, is to Allah, it says.
And since the Quran addresses the past, the present and the future, Allah, who these worlds programmed with a program, is able to bring many more such peoples, when their time comes, into the material world, keeping the world's balance, and with those who say "Allah", for those who say "Allah", to carry this world on to its end — He is capable of that. Allah Almighty does not leave the world to a single power, nor does He let it be owned by it. Nor does He let the world pass to the sovereignty of one state. Because the one and absolute power is Allah. He is the Owner of the universe. Today, let's say America, as the world's single power, has set itself up for it. Where did you leave China?
Where did you leave Russia? Where did you leave India? Pakistan; today Turkey is coming. The Ottoman State is coming. After it, the grandchildren of the Ottomans are coming. Yes.
Allah does not leave the world to a single power. And does not let it be owned by it. Nor does He hand the world over to the ruler of one state. Because the one and absolute power is Allah. He is the Owner of the universe. Allah's grace and knowledge are vast. Whoever asks Allah for guidance, Allah opens the paths of guidance to him. Allah, who encompasses the universe with His knowledge, is the Possessor of wisdom. He is the One who fully knows what will happen where and when. Therefore where, when and what kind of people Allah Almighty will bring, only Allah knows. This lies within Allah's knowledge.
The duty that falls to us is to abide by Allah's verses and put our trust in Allah. Yes.
