There is no deity but Only Allah. Allah is the Lord of the great Throne.
Tafsir
Allah is the owner of the great Throne. This means that we have explained what the Throne is in our previous lessons. Let's mention it a little bit here. If we liken the universe, the heavens and the earth, and everything in between, to a building, the outer walls and the roof of the building protect the inside of the building.
Since the Throne encompasses this creation, the heavens and the earth, the Throne and all that is in it belongs to none other than Allah. He says, "The owner of the great Throne" to inform us that Allah is the absolute owner of this universe and that there is no other God but Allah.
Therefore, when we say 'Arshullah', it means that this creation, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them, as a whole, belongs to Allah. In this way, Allah proves to people that there is no other God but Allah, if He is the absolute creator and the absolute owner of His creatures.
What is said in the video
Now to the twenty-sixth verse of Surah An-Naml we have come.
Yet there is no god but Allah, the Owner of the great Throne. Indeed, they worship the sun. Well, what does Allah Almighty say? Allahu lâ ilâhe illâ hüve rabbü'l-arşi'l-azîm. Yet there is no god but Allah, the Owner of the great Throne. Yes. Allah Almighty is the Owner of the great Throne. From this, to the meaning: in our past lessons we explained what the Throne is. Let us touch on it briefly here too. If we were to liken the universe, the heavens and the earth and what is between them, to a building, then the building's outer walls and roof keep the inside of the building protected. Is that so?
What happened? This building here, seven layers (?) heavens, seven heavens, its outside is enclosed; no created being can go outside of it. From inside the building one can rise through seven layers. Its outside is a place where time and (?), time and space do not exist. This is what is called the Arshullah: the Arshullah is the outside of this building, its outer facade. When you go beyond its outer facade, when you go out through the door, it is a place where time and space do not exist. That belongs to Allah alone. And we are imprisoned here. When will we be freed? We will attain our freedom when we leave the garment of the body.
If we go as Muslims, we have made it. Yes. Since the Throne encloses this created universe, the heavens and the earth, Arshullah, Arshullah, that is, when one says "Allah's Throne, Allah's Throne", what do we mean? For example, whose building is this? Göktürk's. What does one say? Göktürk's building. Or İbrahim's building.
That is its meaning, he says. Put all these created things inside this building, there, the seven layers. Whose is this? İbrahim's. So when we say Arshullah, all these seven heavens and the Throne surrounding them, by being Allah's Throne, mean that He is the Owner of this whole universe. Enclosed by the Arshullah. Yes. Indeed, Allahu lâ ilâhe illâ hüve: there is no other god but Allah. Allah, who subsists by Himself, rabbü'l-arşi'l-azîm, that Creator, the Owner of the whole Throne, the Owner of the great Throne, the one who is the Creator. Yes.
Since the Throne encloses this created universe, the heavens and the earth, the Arshullah and what is within it belong to none but Allah. To make known to us that Allah is the absolute Owner of this created universe and that besides Allah there is no other god, He says "the Owner of the great Throne", so He declares. So when Arshullah is said, a universe, this universe, the heavens and the earth and what is within them, as a whole belongs to Allah; that is what it means. Since Allah created it all as a whole in this way and is also the absolute Owner of what He created, Allah Almighty has thus proven to people that besides Allah there is no other god.
Yes.
