Melike implicitly said that no matter how strong we are, we cannot stand against Suleiman and we will surely be defeated. In this case, he said, when commanders or rulers take over a town, they both ruin it and humiliate its elders.

He said this because he knew that the people around the queen, the lords and the great ones, were selfish and proud people, and he knew that they would not want their pride to be broken, and he wanted them to surrender to Hadrat Solomon 'alaihis-salâm' by grabbing them by the heart. She said, "When rulers enter a country, they make it miserable and humiliate the great ones of its people, and that is what they will probably do.

What is said in the video

The Queen: When kings enter a country, now, the Queen: when kings enter a country, they ruin it and humiliate the noblest of its people. Surely they too will do the same, she said. Implicitly, that is: we cannot fight them. Even if we fight, we will be defeated. And they will humiliate us — so here she will now slowly instill her (?) in them. The Queen, implicitly: we, however strong we may be, cannot stand against Solomon, and we will surely be defeated. In that case, when commanders or kings take a town into their hands, they both ruin that town and humiliate its nobles, she said. Here, since the Queen knew that those around her, the lords and nobles, were given to their nafs and were proud people, and knew that these people would not want their pride to be broken, she caught them right at their most vulnerable spot.

She spoke this way because she wanted them to surrender to Solomon (peace be upon him). That is, she spoke this way because she wanted no surrender.

The Queen: when kings enter a country, they ruin it and humiliate the noblest of its people. Surely they too will do the same, she said.
