“(Oh Envoy!) Return to them; they shall know that we will come with armies they cannot overpower and drive them out of there in humiliation and disgrace.”
Tafsir
Solomon addressed the messengers; O messengers! Return to them. That is, bring news of us to your people. He said, "Tell the Queen and her people that We will come with armies that will never be able to resist Us, and We will drive them out of their homes in humiliation and insult.
Allah (swt) gave Solomon armies that the people of his time could not resist. Jinns and birds, armies of people who believed in Allah, and the language of talking to animals, gave Solomon great power. Therefore, when Solomon said, "I will come with armies that they will never be able to resist," he meant armies made up of birds and jinn, which the people of that time could not have dealt with.
He also said, "I will despise and humiliate those who are capable of war among their own elders, those who are incapacitated, those who reign in their homelands, the lords and elders, and I will drive them out of their homelands. With this, Solomon sent the following image to the messengers and his people. I am the messenger of Allah, follow me. What you worship besides Allah is nothing. Allah is the owner of all sovereignty and property. There is no God other than Him. If I had not believed in Allah, the owner of these beings, I would have taken the gifts you sent and rejoiced in them. Solomon meant this by his actions and sent this message to the queen and her people.
What is said in the video
In Surah An-Naml, verse 37: O envoy! Go back to them! Let them know well that we will come with armies they can never withstand, and we will surely drive them out from there, humiliated and abased. When Solomon told the envoys exactly the words the Queen had spoken, they too understand the situation. Solomon, addressing the envoys: O envoys, go back to them! That is, take word from us to your people; tell the Queen and her people that we will come with armies they can never withstand, and drive them out of their homeland humiliated and abased, he said. Allah Almighty gave Solomon armies that the people of his time could not withstand.
Jinn and birds, armies of people who believed in Allah, and the language of speaking with animals — with these He gave Solomon great power. For this reason, when Solomon says that, through these powers given to him, he will come with armies they can never withstand, these are armies of birds and jinn, which the people of that time could not possibly deal with. He also said: those among their leaders who are men of war will be rendered helpless, and the lords and nobles who parade in pomp in their land I will humiliate and abase, and drive them out of their land. With this, Solomon sent the envoys and their people the following message.
I am Allah's messenger, follow me; what you worship besides Allah is nothing; all sovereignty and dominion belong to Allah. There is no god but Him. Had I not believed in Allah, the owner of all these things, I would have taken the gifts you sent and rejoiced in them. By his conduct Solomon meant this, and he conveyed it to the Queen and her people as a message.
