Translation

Those who believed later and migrated and fought with you, they are also with you. According to Allah’s Book, close relatives are more appropriate to (be inheritors to) each other. Verily, Allah knows everything.

Tafsir

Those who believed afterwards and emigrated and fought jihad with you are among you. If we pay attention to the verse here, the fact that it says they are among you may mislead some people to make a wrong judgment. The meaning here is that they are from you because they are Muslims in terms of faith and share the same faith as brothers in Islam. Otherwise, they are not related to each other by ties such as kinship ties and they are not heirs to their property. In order not to misunderstand this verse, Allah (swt) continues the verse!

(According to the Book of Allah, close relatives are better suited to be heirs to each other). Since it is written in the previous Verses who are heirs to whom, Allah (swt) says that according to the Book of Allah, close relatives are more suitable to be heirs to each other. It also prevents a wrong judgment and decision.

(Surely Allah is the All-Knowing.) Allah, the Creator of all this existence and the universe, did not create His creatures apart from Himself. Surely Allah is the All-Knowing, for He has created them all under His sovereignty.

(As for those who believed but did not emigrate, you will have no share in their inheritance until they emigrate) Since they understood this verse to apply to all Muslims and that they were heirs to their property, it was said that this verse was abrogated by the seventy-fifth verse. However, Allah (swt) states in the seventy-second verse that relatives cannot inherit the property of Muslims who have not emigrated. When they seek help from the Muslims and they are reunited with each other, only their relatives can inherit each other's property, as relatives are the heirs of each other. Allah's law never changes, Allah does not speak in vain. No verse of the Qur'an is abrogated by any other verse of the Qur'an, i.e. one verse is not abrogated and the other is not replaced by it. Allah forbid, in this case Allah will be attributed.

What is said in the video

Verse 75, Surah Al-Anfal, verse 75. The verse: Those who believed later and emigrated and strove together with you are also of you. According to the Book of Allah, close relatives are more entitled to inherit from one another. Surely Allah knows all things. Although it says "they are of us", (?) those who fight together with us, even though they are of us, when we die, it is more fitting that our inheritance falls to close relatives, it says. Allah Almighty puts it so beautifully anyway. They came from outside. However much they are our brothers in Islam, still, what we have earned, our inheritance, to our close relatives after us — He commands it to pass on.

Those who believed later, emigrated and strove together with you are also of you. If we pay attention to the verse here, its saying "of you" may mislead some people into passing wrong judgments. The meaning here is that they are Muslim in terms of faith and, as brothers in Islam, because they share the same belief, they are "of you". Otherwise, they have no status of being related to one another through ties such as kinship and inheriting each other's property. Yes. So that this verse is not misunderstood, Allah Almighty continues the verse: "According to the Book of Allah, close relatives are more entitled to inherit from one another." So He makes His verses known to people clearly and plainly.

Since it was written in earlier verses who inherits from whom, "According to the Book of Allah Almighty, close relatives are more entitled to inherit from one another," He says. At the same time, a wrong — a wrongly given — judgment and decision is prevented by this verse being written this way. A wrong decision being given.

Surely Allah knows all things. Allah is not unaware of what He created; He did not separate it from His Self either. He created everything under His own rule. Surely Allah knows all things. Allah, who created all these beings and the universe, did not create His creation separate from His Self. Since He created all of it under His rule, surely Allah knows everything best. Now, as for "those who believed but did not emigrate" in verse 72: "you have no share in their inheritance until they emigrate" — the verse — when they applied it to all Muslims and understood that they were heirs to their property, it was said that this verse was abrogated by verse 75.

Whereas Allah Almighty, in verse 72, makes known that relatives cannot inherit the property of Muslims who did not emigrate, that they cannot be their heirs. Only when they ask the Muslims for help, when they are reunited with one another, since relatives are each other's heirs, do relatives inherit each other's property. Allah's law never changes. Allah does not speak in vain. No verse is ever abrogated by any other verse. That is, one does not go out of force with another taking its place. God forbid, in that case Allah Almighty would be ascribed attributes. Because people cannot understand the verses well: this verse was abrogated by that one, meaning Allah Almighty did not know.

When He sent His verses, He would later realize He had erred. He developed Himself and sent verses this way. May Allah bestow understanding upon their minds and thoughts. If they do it on purpose, if they say it on purpose, may He prepare their place in the fire of hell. It is already prepared. Do not head towards the fire prepared for the disbelievers, says Allah Almighty.
