Translation
But when Allah gave from Allah’s grace, they became miserly and turned away. And they were disloyal.
Tafsir
In response to the hypocrites' asking Allah (swt) for worldly wealth, Allah (swt) made them rich out of His grace and bounty, so that they would be witnesses for themselves and others. But when they became rich, the people who did not believe in Allah and His Messenger, those who desired the life of their nature, and those who had their own traits written down as their destiny, turned back on their original nature and reneged on their promises to Allah. They took themselves as witnesses against Allah, the world and themselves. They are liars at root.
Allah does not take people's lives until He has made every soul a witness against itself and others, until He has revealed the character and traits of the people.
What is said in the video
Verse 76. This is a verse that has been interpreted wrongly. Let's see, in verse 76, Surah At-Tawbah 76, what does it say? Sir, 55, 70, 76. Interpreted wrongly. But when Allah gave them wealth out of His grace, they were stingy with it and, turning away from Allah's command, went back on their word, it says.
They went back on their word. They gave their word to Allah and went back on it. Just look at that. Yes. No one can change his destiny. Giving one's word to Allah means having one's destiny written. One's destiny. What did the previous verse, the several previous verses say? Allah Almighty — no one can change what Allah has written. What they had written — no one can change what anyone had written. Yes. When He gave to them out of His generosity, they were stingy and turned away. When He gave to them out of His generosity, they were stingy and turned away. They had been dodging all along anyway.
Verse 76. Sir.
What does it say here? They, it says, had been dodging all along anyway. What does it say here? They were stingy and, turning away from Allah's command, turning away, went back on their word, it says. It has nothing to do with it. They had been dodging all along anyway. This is the meaning of the verse. Their equivalents.
In response to the hypocrites asking Allah Almighty for worldly wealth, Allah Almighty — so that they would make themselves witness to those around and to themselves — out of His grace, generosity and bounty made them rich. But when they became rich, these people who do not believe in Allah and His Messenger, who desire the life in their nature, who had their own traits written as their destiny, returned to their origin and backed out of the promises they had given Allah. They made themselves witnesses before Allah, those around, and themselves. These are liars at the root anyway. That is, in the world he says: give to me, my Allah, give, give.
Our Lord says alright — He knows he is a hypocrite. He won't do it anyway, He knows, nor will he keep his word. Out of His grace and generosity He lets him taste a little something. Then, being a denier, he brings out his own world, his own essential trait. Those riches — because why does Allah Almighty give man this wealth? Sometimes We test you with your wealth, sometimes with your lives, it says. In this case, since these are liars at the root, when in response to what they asked of Allah they do not keep their words, that is, that prayer, the prayers they made, Allah Almighty too — to Him they are liars at the root anyway. So Allah does not, without making every soul witness against itself and those around, without revealing what character and traits people have, take people's lives.
