We have created there means of living for you and for those whose provisions don’t belong to you.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) provides sustenance for both human beings and the animals He has created on earth. All sustenance belongs to Allah. The sustenance given to us is the vegetables and fruits that are sown and harvested on the earth and utilized. We are also given sustenance from birds flying in the sky and creatures in the sea. Small and large cattle are animals at the disposal of humans to benefit from their meat, milk and skins.
Allah has also created camels and horses. People benefit from these riding animals. These are riding animals for the service of human beings. Some of them are sustenanced by human hands, although all sustenance is reserved for Allah. Some of them benefit from the sustenance created for them by Allah (swt) in the property of Allah (swt). Apart from these, there are predatory animals and many other creatures that are not fed by human hands, and their sustenance is given to them by Allah Himself, not by human beings.
What is said in the video
Verse 20: There, both for you and for those whose provision is not yours, We created the necessary means of livelihood, He says. Yes, there, both for you and for those whose provision is not yours, so which provisions are not ours? What animals eat, what we cannot eat. For example, today there are animals that eat poisonous fruit. Parrots. Some birds eat poisonous fruit. Then they go off. There is a yellow mud. By eating from that yellow mud, as an antidote to that poison they take this. And when, at the yellow mud these animals go to as an antidote, pigs and wild animals come, they cannot land there.
Elsewhere, for an antidote that will kill the poison, they search for a marsh, they find it, eat from that mud, and, well, with those fruits, the poisonous fruits too, they fill their bellies. It is not our provision; Allah Almighty created those animals' provision. Let no one else eat it; let them eat it. And as its antidote, let them eat such-and-such mud, yellow mud, and be saved, live, live and carry on. Allah the Creator has power over all things. He creates everything. He also has them eat poison. And He gives the poison's antidote in this way, and He has assigned animals the duties they will perform and has them carry out their duties.
Yes. There, both for you and for those whose provision is not yours, We created the necessary means of livelihood. On earth Allah Almighty gives both people and the animals He created their provision. Giving all provision belongs to Allah. (?) to Allah Almighty. The provisions given to us are the vegetables sown and reaped on earth and benefited from and fruits. Also, from the birds flying in the sky and the creatures in the sea, the given provisions. As for small and large livestock, for their meat, milk and hides to be used, they are animals placed at people's disposal. These are divided into cloven-hoofed and single-hoofed.
For example, pigs are haram. They are not eaten. Also, Allah created camels and horses. People benefit from these riding animals too. These are riding animals put at people's service. Although all provision belongs to Allah, some of these are provided for by human hands. Others, in Allah Almighty's dominion, benefit from the provisions that Allah Almighty created for them. Besides these, there are predatory animals, countless creatures not fed by human hand, whose provision is given not by people but by Allah Himself to them. For example lions, tigers, hyenas, let me say, many wild, predatory animals, eagles, vultures; they eat carcasses, for example, they eat each other, kill each other, the flesh of one another they eat. These too are provisions, beyond our provision, that Allah Almighty has given them.
