Translation

When someone amongst them is given the glad tidings of a daughter (born), his face becomes darkened from anger.

Tafsir

When the good news of a daughter came to the polytheists who did not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, they would feel ashamed, as if they had committed a crime and were too ashamed to go out among people, and they would feel hatred towards their wives because of the good news of a daughter, and their faces would turn black with greed.

They never thought that the entrustment of these sons and daughters to them is not in the hands of human beings, but a gift from Allah, the Creator of the worlds. When a family with a son takes a daughter from a family with a daughter, the two families are related to each other, ensuring their unity and solidarity.

Are these people then people who have committed crimes? Should these people be ashamed of each other, disrupt the social and national order, have an inferiority complex against each other, and turn their ties into enmity? Also, do such people have no respect for the mother who gave birth to a human being? In this case, people are also tested with their children. This is a law of Allah. Since whatever is given to anyone comes from Allah, it is the right of those entrusted with it to raise them in the best way possible.

What is said in the video

When one of them is given the news of a girl, his face turns pitch black with anger. The polytheists who did not believe in Allah and the hereafter, when news of a girl came, feeling humiliated, as if he had committed a crime and was so ashamed he could not go out among people, because of the news of a girl, toward his wife he would feel resentment; his face would turn pitch black with fury. They never considered that these girls and boys being given to them as a trust is not in people's hands, that it is the (?) of Allah, who created the worlds; so it is. When a family with a son takes a girl from a family with a daughter, these two families become related to each other and secure their unity and togetherness.

So are these people people who have committed a crime? Should these people, ashamed before one another, disrupting the order of society and nation, feeling an inferiority complex toward each other, turn the bonds between them into enmity? And do such people have no respect for the mother who gave birth to them? In this case, people are tested with their children. This is a law of Allah. Whatever He gives to whomever, since it comes from Allah, raising them in the best way is a due upon those entrusted with them.
