Translation

If Allah were to punish mankind immediately for their oppression, there would be nothing alive on earth. But Allah postpones them until a determined time. When the time for the end on earth comes, they cannot stay one hour behind, nor can they advance by an hour.

Tafsir

All creation is imperfect and faulty, including man. If Allah (swt) had caught them immediately for their shortcomings and mistakes, there would not be a single living creature left on the earth. So Allah (swt) has opened the doors of repentance for His creatures so that they may repent and turn back from their mistakes. He has given them a period of time until an appointed time, that is, until the end of their lives. During this period, man makes himself a witness to Allah by living the destiny of his covenant with Allah in the realm of property.

When their time is up, their lives will not go backward or forward. The life of the world is over and the opportunity is gone.

What is said in the video

Verse 61, An-Nahl Surah, verse 61: If Allah were to punish people immediately for their wrongdoing, He would not leave a single living creature on earth. But He defers them until an appointed term. When their term comes, they can neither stay behind by an hour nor go ahead. All created beings, including man, are deficient and flawed. If, for the mistakes people made with these deficiencies, Allah Almighty had seized them at once, not a single living creature would remain walking on the earth. Therefore Allah Almighty, so that His creatures may regret their mistakes and turn back, has opened the doors of repentance to them.

Until an appointed time, that is, until the end of their lives, He has given people a period. Within this period, man, by living out the destiny of this covenant he gave to Allah in the material world, makes himself a witness before Allah.

When their term is fulfilled, their lives go neither one breath back nor forward. Then worldly life is over, and the opportunity has slipped from their hands.
