Translation

This (punishment) is because they chose the worldly life over the Hereafter, and because the blasphemers do not desire Allah’s guidance.

Tafsir

The reason for the punishment of the disbelievers in Hell in the Hereafter is that they deny Allah because they have embraced the life of this world. Whoever has gone to the Hereafter and whoever has come, how do they know there is a Hereafter? Heaven and hell are both in this world. They say that if a person lives a good life, he is in paradise, and if he lives a bad life, he is in hell. They attribute everything to the worldly goods created by Allah. If you have wealth and property, whatever you are, you are the best person, you are the lord, you do not have wealth and property; you are the most distinguished person, but you are a lowly person in the company of the disbelievers.

In this respect, they pride themselves on worldly wealth, sons and daughters, and they lust after Allah's creation. They deny Allah and the Hereafter. Allah (swt) shows such people the paths of guidance by sending Prophets, Books and scholars. He invites them to salvation. People who continue in their disbelief are subject to every stubborn devil, follow the tagut, cannot give up the arrogance and greatness of the nafs, are deceived by the blessings of the world, deny Allah and the Hereafter, and cannot attain Allah's guidance if they continue in this state. That is what eternal pain and sorrow, suffering and pain, and hell in the Hereafter are for them.

What is said in the video

Verse 107; this is a wrongly interpreted verse. Let's see, this is Surah An-Nahl, verse 107, how it was interpreted wrongly; let us read its wrong version, now, 107.

"This punishment is because they preferred worldly life to the Hereafter and because Allah does not guide the disbelieving people," it says.

"Allah does not guide the disbelieving people," it says. Among the disbelieving people there are those who find guidance. This verse: as long as the disbelieving people continue in that state, they cannot attain Allah's guidance. That is the meaning of the verse. "This punishment is because they preferred worldly life to the Hereafter and because the disbelieving people did not want Allah's guidance." The reason for the disbelievers' punishment in Hell in the Hereafter: because they embraced worldly life, they deny Allah. "Who has gone to the Hereafter and come back? Who knows there is a Hereafter?

Paradise and Hell are both in this world. If a person lives well he is in Paradise, if he lives a bad life he is in Hell," they say. They tie everything to the worldly goods that Allah created. "If you have wealth and property, whatever you are, you are a good person, a lord; if you have no wealth and property, even if you were the mightiest person, next to the disbelieving people you are a lowly person."

Therefore, boasting of worldly wealth, of children and family, about Allah's creations they say (?). They deny Allah and the Hereafter. Allah Almighty, by sending such people prophets, books and scholars, shows them the paths of guidance. He invites them to salvation. People who persist in their denial follow every stubborn devil, run after the taghut, cannot give up the arrogance and grandeur of the nafs, are deceived by worldly blessings; when they deny Allah and the Hereafter, when they persist in these states, they cannot attain Allah's guidance. So eternal grief and sorrow, suffering and pain, in the Hereafter, in Hell, are these.

Are for these. In Hell, for these. Yes, what are we saying. So eternal grief and sorrow, suffering and pain in the Hereafter, in Hell, are for such people.
