And do not say: “I will certainly do this tomorrow” about something.
Tafsir
It is not known how long Allah (swt) has given life to human beings. In this respect, man cannot say that he will live for this long, nor can he know whether he will live a second later or not. Since man does not know how long he will live, he cannot talk about his lifespan. Before you know it, a person is dead instantly. Nobody has any knowledge about life span. That is why, when people are doing something, they cannot say that tomorrow I will do this or tomorrow I will be busy with that. Otherwise, people will be unknowingly speaking a lie. Man has neither the capacity for tomorrow nor the evidence for the next moment.
So if you do not say Inshallah when you say I will do this tomorrow or a little later, and you live until that day within your lifetime, this is people speaking lies against Allah, as if to say, You gave me a lifetime, but how did I know that I would live until tomorrow or a little later within this lifetime, without any authority in their hands, with a life that Allah has given to people within their destiny, although only Allah knows, with the words that they have spoken within their lifetime, with their guesses, with their guesses. It is up to Allah to decide whether or not to do what he promised to do. So when a person says that he will do this tomorrow or in the future, or that he will start this job in a little while, he should speak in such a way that he remembers Allah and says Inshallah with His permission. For example, Inshallah, I will endeavor to do this job tomorrow, or Inshallah, if Allah permits, I will start this job.
So when I say Inshallah, it means if Allah permits it. In other words, if I have a lifetime to reach that time and the work I am destined to do when that time comes is within my destiny, I will have started that work without being a liar when I say it.
Again, if I reach that time and it is not in my destiny and I change my mind and I don't do it, then I am not a liar, because by saying Inshallah, I have surrendered to Allah's destiny over me. Therefore, when one starts a job or intends to do something in the future, one should always say Inshallah.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Kahf, verse 23 And do not say about anything: I will certainly do this tomorrow. Why? Long hopes are shirk. What shall we say? Shall we not talk about what we will do tomorrow? We will. Then what shall we say? Inshallah, that is, if Allah permits me. Yes, say inshallah. How long a life Allah Almighty has given people is not known. For this reason, just as a person cannot say "I will live this long", he also cannot know whether he will be alive a second later or not. Since a person does not know how long he will live, he cannot speak about his lifespan. And then you see that a person has died in an instant.
No one has any knowledge about his lifespan. It is for this reason that people, while doing something, cannot say: I will do this tomorrow, or a little later I will be busy with this task. Otherwise people will have told a lie without knowing it. A person has in his hands neither any authority to reach tomorrow nor any proof for a moment later. So, rebelling against Allah, when you say: I will do this task tomorrow or a little later and you do not say inshallah, and within your lifespan you live until that day, this person, towards Allah, is as if saying: He gave me a lifespan, but I how did I know that within this lifespan I would live until tomorrow or until a little later; without any authority in his hands, about a lifespan that Allah gave people within their destiny, which only Allah knows, with the guess he made, within his lifespan, with the words he spoke by guessing, this is people telling lies.
Whether he will do the thing he promised and said he would do, Allah knows best as well. So when a person is about to say: I will do this task tomorrow or in the future, or a little later I will start this task, he must speak by remembering Allah and within His permission, saying inshallah. For example, one must say: inshallah I will strive to do this task of mine tomorrow, or inshallah, if Allah permits, I will start this task.
so inshallah, by saying it, if Allah permits, it means; that is, if I have a life that reaches that time, and if the task I will do when that time comes is within my destiny, then I will have started that task without being a liar when I said it. Again, about that task I will do, when I reach that time, if this task is within my destiny, let's open this part again yes, if it is not within my destiny and I change my mind and do not do that task, I will not have become one of the liars. Because by saying inshallah, I have submitted to Allah's destiny over me. For this reason, when a person is about to start something, or intends to do something in the future, he must certainly say inshallah.
If a person forgets to say inshallah, he will say this. Then, when it comes to his mind: surely Allah may bring me to success at a time nearer than this. He will say it like this. O my Lord, I forgot to say inshallah. Surely You are the Lord of the worlds; perhaps He will bring me to a success earlier than what this one said, he will say.
