Tafsir
Since Allah (swt) created human beings incomplete intellectually, they cannot comprehend what Allah (swt) has created or what Allah (swt) has sent to human beings. Therefore, Allah, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted, the Exalted. In this respect, the Book of Allah, the Holy Qur'an, is the truth and is complete and perfect. It is the truth. There is no verse in it that contradicts each other. Allah says about the Holy Qur'an: "If it were the word of a human being, there would be many words in it which do not agree with each other.
Since Allah (swt) is very compassionate and merciful to His creatures, He does not put on their backs a burden that they cannot bear. In this respect, He has sent the Book of truth, the Holy Qur'an, so that people do not face any difficulty or hardship in their lives. The Qur'an is a Book of truth from our Lord to the worlds.
After this Qur'an, which is the truth, has come, let whoever wishes believe. Allah has left people free in their free will. He has written their destiny by their will. Therefore, since people are free in their will, He says, "Let whoever wishes believe. If people turn their backs on Allah and deify their nafs and follow Shaytan and Taghut, Allah has prepared Hell on the Day of Judgment for those people who are cruel to their nafs.
The walls of this hell encircle the wrongdoers. The meaning of encircling is that Allah (swt) says in one of His verses, "The worldly realm is the shadow and likeness of the Hereafter". Accordingly, when a person enters a prison in the worldly realm, he looks for ways to escape from there, and indeed he does escape. Or some of the people who cannot escape have a man and through him they plan to get out of there. Apart from these, they will eventually get out of there after their sentence is served and they have served their sentence properly. There are also life prisoners who are in eternal prison.
If a person dies in this world without believing in Allah and the Hereafter and passes on to the Hereafter in this state, his place will be eternal Hell. There is no escape from there ever again. Just as a person who enters a prison in the worldly realm has no hope of ever getting out of it, so, conversely, a person will lose hope of ever getting out of Hell. They will have no helpers or intercessors there. In that case, the walls of Hell will surround them. In other words, Allah (swt) declares that they will never be able to get out of it or escape from it. Now the walls of hell surround them for eternity.
Since Hell is a place of torment or a place of burning and scorching, people will thirst from the heat there and will cry out for help from thirst. They will be answered with waters that scald their faces like molten metal.
And what an evil drink is that which they will drink in the abode of the Hereafter, and what an evil place of return is Hell.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 29.
Surah Al-Kahf, verse 29: And say, the truth is from your Lord. So whoever wishes, let him believe. We have prepared for the wrongdoers such a Hell that its walls surround them on all sides. Should they cry for help from thirst, their cries are answered with water like molten metal that scalds the faces. What a terrible drink, what a bad place to stay, says Allah Almighty in His verse. Since Allah Almighty created people deficient in intellect, people cannot grasp (?) what Allah created or what Allah sent to people. Therefore Allah, who is free from deficient attributes, sends people books that show, flawlessly and perfectly, the truth and what is right.
Therefore the book of Allah that is true and flawlessly perfect is the Quran. It is the truth; there is no verse in it that contradicts another. Allah Almighty says of the Quran: if it had been the word of a human, in it many words not agreeing with one another would be found.
Since Allah Almighty is very tender and merciful towards His creatures, He does not place on people's backs a burden they cannot bear. Therefore, so that people would not meet with a difficulty, a difficulty and a hardship during their lives, He sent the true Book, the Quran, the Noble Quran. And the Quran is a true book sent down from our Lord to the worlds. So after this true Quran has come, let whoever wishes believe; Allah has left people free in their partial will. He has written their destinies through people's wishing. Therefore, since people are free in their will: let whoever wishes believe, He says. If people turn their backs on Allah, deify their nafs, and follow Satan and the taghut, then for these people who are wrongful towards their own selves Allah Almighty has prepared Hell on the Day of Judgment.
Yes.
The walls of this Hell surround the wrongdoers on all sides. The meaning of "surrounding on all sides": Allah Almighty says in His verse that the worldly realm is the likeness and shadow of the Hereafter. Accordingly, in the worldly realm, when a person enters prison, he looks for ways to escape from there, and indeed he escapes; or some of those who cannot escape have someone, and through that person they plan to get out. Apart from these, when his sentence is complete, after he has served his punishment as required, sooner or later he gets out of there. And there are also those sentenced to life who remain in prison forever.
So if in worldly life a person dies without believing in Allah and the Hereafter, and passes on to the Hereafter in this state, his place is eternal Hell. Then there is no more escape from there. Just as a person who enters prison in the worldly realm carries the hope of getting out, so as the opposite of this, a person will lose the hope of ever getting out of Hell. They will have neither a helper nor an intercessor there. In this situation the walls of Hell have surrounded them. That is, that they can never get out of there again or escape and be saved, Allah Almighty declares. From now on, forever, the walls of Hell surround them.
Since Hell is a place of torment, or a place of burning and scorching, people there will thirst from the heat and will cry for help from thirst. Their cries for help will be answered with waters like molten metal that scald the faces. So the waters they will drink in the abode of the Hereafter, in Hell – what a bad drink, and what a bad place of return that Hell is, and what a bad resting place that Hell is.
