Tafsir
People who deny Allah and the Hereafter will find no supporter or helper for themselves except Allah. Such people live their lives in this world denying Allah and the Hereafter. When they go to the Hereafter in this state, Allah (swt) removes His mercy from such people. They will have neither a helper nor an intercessor.
When mankind came to the earth, if Allah's mercy had not reached mankind, they would hardly have found Allah on their own. Allah has sent Prophets and Books to people so that they may find the Truth. In this respect, people are not capable of saving themselves.
Allah (swt) introduces His Essence to human beings, since He is free from imperfect attributes. No human being will be able to ask Allah (swt) any questions on the Day of Judgment. This is because Allah makes all the questions that people will ask come to light in their lives and they will cease to question and inquire. Every soul will be fully rewarded for what it has done, without being wronged in any way. And no one will be able to accuse Allah (swt).
Therefore, people cannot easily escape the questioning and inquiry of Allah (swt) on their own. That is why Allah is a helper and a guide for mankind.

The forty-third verse, the forty-third verse of Surah Al-Kahf. Just as he had no supporter besides Allah to help him, he was also not strong enough to save himself. People who deny Allah and the Hereafter cannot find for themselves, besides Allah, a supporter and a helper. Such people live their worldly lives denying Allah and the Hereafter. When they go to the Hereafter in this state, Allah Almighty too withdraws His mercy from such people. They have neither a helper nor an intercessor. When mankind came to the earth, had Allah's mercy not reached people, people would have found Allah only with difficulty on their own.
Allah sent people prophets and books so that they would find the truth. In this respect, people are not strong enough to save themselves. Since Allah Almighty is free from deficient attributes, He makes His essence known to people; no person on the Day of Resurrection, on that Day of Reckoning, will be able to put questions to Allah Almighty. Because Allah brings forth within their lives all the questions people would ask, and people stop questioning. So every soul, without being wronged in any way, will receive the recompense of what it did in full. And no one will be able to blame Allah Almighty.
Therefore people cannot easily, on their own, save themselves from Allah Almighty's procedure of questioning. That is why Allah is a helper to people and the one who shows the right path.
