Allah has given the night, the day, the sun, and the moon for your service. And stars move by Allah’s order. Verily, there are great lessons in these for those who use their intellect.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) provides many proofs to prove His existence. He also asks people to use their intellect. For example, He has made day and night for our benefit; during the day we work to earn our livelihood and at night we rest and relax. The earth's rotation around its axis in twenty-four hours creates day and night, and the earth's rotation around the sun's axis creates months and years and seasons accordingly. He declares that these events will not happen out of the blue, that Allah exists for every rational person, that this universe cannot maintain this order on its own, and that there is someone who maintains this order in order and intimacy by keeping the unnumbered masses in the void with a science, and that He is Allah.
The stars also move by Allah's command. So when He says that all the stars in the heavens are not created in vain, but are moving, and that they are not fixed in their places, but are in motion with their axes and also with their satellites, there are many signs for every thinking people that Allah is the only one who created them and is the one who establishes and manages this order.
What is said in the video
Verse 12 of Surah An-Nahl: He has placed the night, the day, the sun and the moon at your service. How did He place them at our service? He set the lunar system in the sky, He set the calendar. In this case the sun, bursting toward the earth with its ultraviolet rays, when its atomic particles strike the earth, warms the earth. Without the sun there is no life. There are three things without which life is not possible. One is the sun, one is air, and one is water. What does verse 12 of Surah An-Nahl say? He has placed the night, the day, the sun and the moon at your service. The stars too move by Allah's command.
Surely in these there are many proofs for those who use their intellect. Allah Almighty puts forward many proofs to prove His existence. At the same time, He wants people to use their intellect. Namely, He has given us night and day for our benefit. That by working in the daytime we earn our living, and at night we rest and relax. The earth turning on its own axis in 24 hours, night and day coming about, and also, with our world turning around the sun's axis, the months and years, and depending on them, the seasons coming about. That these events do not happen just like that, that for every mind, for people who use their minds, Allah exists, that this universe cannot keep this order by itself, and that the one who holds masses beyond numbers in space with knowledge, and in order and regularity maintains this order, is one, and that He is Allah — this He declares.
The stars too move by Allah's command. So, when He says that the countless stars in the heavens, each one in no way created in vain, move, by this, that they too are not fixed in their places, that around their own axes and also with their satellites they are in motion, He declares. That the one who created them and set up and governs this order can only be Allah — for every thinking people there are many unimagined lessons. Among the stars in the sky, sometimes there is the shepherd's star. It always rises from the same place. Always in the same place. That's how shepherds find their way. The polar (?), going from one place to another, travel by looking at the stars.
That's how they find their way. To cross those vast poles, the polar seas, to the other side, from the sea, from those stars they benefit. Yes.
