Al-Isra 106: We have structered the Qur’an so that you would read it to mankind slowly (verse by verse, chapter by chapter). And We have sent it down with partitions.

The one hundred and sixth verse.

We have divided it as a Quran, so that you recite it to people slowly, verse by verse, surah by surah, and We sent it down gradually, it says. We also discussed the previous verse. Revealing it part by part, piece by piece to the heart of the Prophet, slowly, sir, recite it to people in a soft voice. So that people understand it better, Allah Almighty divided the verses of the Holy Quran surah by surah and verse by verse. With each surah and its verses, it is a book that teaches people knowledge, morals, justice, virtue, and how all people may live in the best way, as the noblest of creation in the world, as the noblest of creation, making the world serve them; a book sent down as a teacher.

For this reason the Quran was sent down gradually, that is, piece by piece. The more the Quran is repeated, the more it is read, the more the human mind develops and the more its comprehension opens. Yes. If we say right away, I read this verse, it is like this, we are mistaken. When we read it again: look, it was saying such a thing here. We had not understood this. When we read it again and again and again, one by one, unfolding opens up, discovery opens up. (?) it was saying this in such-and-such verse too. So this is like this as well. Sir, and the human mind develops continually. Because it is the word of Allah. The word of Allah rests on the letters.

Each letter has a meaning of its own. The Prophet says in his hadith: every day I would repent seventy times for my shortcoming. Seventy times repentance, for his shortcoming. Can one who came as a mercy to the worlds have a shortcoming? He would receive one meaning of a verse, seventy meanings a day. When he received the fiftieth meaning, he would realize he had been lacking and mistaken as to the forty-ninth meaning. When he received the sixty-ninth meaning, he would realize he had been lacking as to the sixty-eighth meaning and mistaken, and he would repent and ask forgiveness. We may not grasp one meaning of a verse for months, perhaps.

Therefore, the Prophet being a mercy to the worlds and being sent to complete good character is a separate matter. Because the worlds were created from his light. People too were created indirectly from his spirit. Yes.

For this reason the Quran was sent down gradually, that is, piece by piece. The more the Quran is repeated, the more it is read, the more the human mind develops and the more its comprehension opens. Because in the Holy Quran Allah addresses minds. Because every human mind, every mind, is created as a knower of Allah, people, through the Quran, come to have the capacity to tell truth and falsehood apart. Each time people read the Holy Quran, drawing different meanings from the verses, they grasp knowledge, virtue, moral living, living, the distinction between the world and the hereafter, and Allah better, and in this way they grasp Allah Almighty better.

People bow to the Quran in reverence. That is, here now, each time people read the Holy Quran, drawing different meanings from the verses, their knowledge increases, their virtue rises, their character becomes beautiful, and they grasp life, the distinction between the world and the hereafter, and Allah better in this way. People bow to the Quran in reverence.
