Al-Kahf 50: Recall that We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam” and then, except for Satan (Iblees), they all prostrated. Satan was from the jinn kind. Satan stepped out of the order of Allah’s Lordship. Now, do you leave Me and befriend Satan and Satan’s generations? Yet, they are your vicious enemies! How bad an exchange this is for the oppressors!

Recall that We said to the angels, “Prostrate before Adam” and then, except for Satan (Iblees), they all prostrated. Satan was from the jinn kind. Satan stepped out of the order of Allah’s Lordship. Tafsir
Allah created the body of our ancestor Adam from mud. He gave him a soul. Then He told the angels to prostrate to Adam. The angels prostrated. Iblis was not among those who prostrated. He went against Allah's command. Because he was one of the evil jinn.
Can Allah be abandoned by following Iblis, who turned against our father Adam and made the descendants of our father Adam his enemies by going beyond the command of Allah? Is it possible to go beyond Allah's command? However, Iblis and his companions and followers are enemies of human beings.
If a man turns away from Allah, the Creator of the worlds and himself, and associates partners with Allah, and follows Satan, and is cruel and unjust to his soul, what an evil change is this change for the wrongdoers. Whoever turns his back on Allah, the Creator of the worlds, and follows Allah's creatures, and exchanges Allah for His creatures, they are cruel to their souls. They are also disbelievers. What an evil place of return for them is Hell. What an evil mattress it is.

Surah Al-Kahf, verse 50: Remember when We told the angels to prostrate before Adam. Except for Iblis, they prostrated at once. Who are they? The angels. What does it say, after all? Pardon?
Remember when We told the angels to prostrate before Adam. Except for Iblis, they prostrated at once. Iblis was of the jinn. He departed from his Lord's command. Now do you leave Me and take him and his offspring as friends? Yet they are your enemies. What an evil exchange this is for the wrongdoers, it says. Yes.
Allah Almighty created the body of our forefather Adam from clay and gave him a soul. Then He told the angels: Prostrate before Adam. And the angels prostrated. Iblis was not among those who prostrated. He went outside Allah's command, because the accursed one was of the jinn. So, can one follow Iblis, who went outside Allah's command, became an enemy to our forefather Adam and took the offspring of our father Adam as his enemies too, and abandon Allah? Can one go outside Allah's command? Yet Iblis and his companions, his gang, are enemies to people. So if a person leaves Allah, who created him and the worlds, associates partners with Allah, follows Satan, and becomes oppressive and unjust toward his own nafs, then for these wrongdoers this exchange is an evil exchange indeed.
Those who turn their backs on Allah, who created the worlds, and follow what Allah created and exchange Him for Allah's creations are wrongdoers against their own nafs. Moreover, they are disbelievers. Their place of return is Hell, what an evil place of return. What an evil resting place it is. May Allah protect us.
