“How can you be patient about a knowledge which you have no insight?”

Tafsir

Human beings are impetuous and impatient by nature. For this reason, he wants to react to events that he does not know the inside of. He wants to intervene in events by asserting the ideas that he considers right in line with his own mind, by defending his own view within the apparent appearance of events. That is why people cannot show patience when they do not know what is going on.

It is not possible for people who do not know the end of the matter to show patience with the actual actions that this person has committed by Allah (swt) informing Hadrat Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' of the inside and the outcome of the events that people's minds do not find appropriate.

For this reason, Hazrat Hidr 'alaihis-salâm', realizing the difficulty of the work, said to Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm': How can you be patient with a knowledge that you cannot comprehend?

What is said in the video

Verse 68. With knowledge whose inner side you cannot grasp, how can you be patient? He is right. How will you be patient? Khidr (peace be upon him) kills the boy. How will you be patient? An innocent boy is standing there. You kill him.

By creation, the human being is hasty and impatient. That is why he wants to react to events whose inner side he does not know. Putting forward ideas he sees as right by his own reason, within the outward appearance of events, defending his own view, he wants to interfere in events. That is why people cannot be patient with events whose inner side they do not know. Allah Almighty, to Khidr (peace be upon him) — the events that people's minds do not find right, their inner side and outcome, He made known to this honored person; so with the deeds this person carried out, for people who do not know the end, showing patience is not possible either.

That is why Khidr (peace be upon him), grasping the difficulty of the matter, to Moses (peace be upon him): 'How will you be patient with knowledge whose inner side you cannot grasp?' he said. Yes. He is warning Moses in advance. That is, you can't do it. Even if you are a prophet — yes, you are a prophet. You cannot tolerate injustice. You will surely try to prevent it. Because you are a prophet. You are not, like other people, (?) in the face of injustice. In that case you won't be able to be patient, he says. Yes.
