Translation
(That servant - Al-Khidr) said; “If you follow me, do not ask me any question about anything until I give knowledge to you about that matter.”
Tafsir
Hadrat Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' warned Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' and said that if you follow me, you will not ask me anything until I give you information about any matter that I have committed.
Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' warned Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' about the things that people do not know, knowing that there will be a reaction in people who love Allah against events that are seen to be contrary to the Shari'ah ruling. Since Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' was also a Prophet, he would inevitably have an objection and a reaction against the other person in terms of protecting the right and justice against wrongdoing according to the Shari'ah ruling.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 70 of Surah Al-Kahf.
That servant said: If you follow me, then until I give you knowledge about it, ask me about nothing.
That is, when I do something it will seem wrong to you, but until I give you knowledge about that matter, you will not ask me anything. Khidr (peace be upon him), warning Moses (peace be upon him): If you follow me, then until I give you some information about any matter I have dealt with, you will not ask me anything, he said. Knowing that, in matters people do not know, against events that seem contrary to the Sharia ruling a reaction will arise in people who love Allah, Khidr (peace be upon him) warned Moses (peace be upon him). Since Moses (peace be upon him) was a prophet too, naturally, against wrongs done by the measure of the Sharia ruling, in order to protect right and justice, toward the person in front of him an objection and a reaction would inevitably arise in him.
