(Al-Khidr) said; “Did I not say that you cannot stand to be with me with patience?”

Tafsir

Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' is a servant who does what he does by the command of Allah. Since Allah links all events to causes, He creates causes for every event. Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' is also a servant who, by Allah's command, helps those who are in distress on earth and those who are destined for salvation or for any other reason.

Since people cannot be patient with the execution of a work that they do not know the end of, and since Khidr 'alaihis-salâm' knew the gravity of this matter, he said to Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', 'Did I not tell you that you cannot be patient with me?
