Translation

(Moses) said; “Do not scold me for something I forgot about and do not bring hardship upon me for this matter.”

Tafsir

Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' said to Khidr 'alaihis-salâm', 'Do not hold me to account for forgetting my promise to you, and do not cause me any difficulty in my work. Inviting people to Allah and not treating anyone unfairly. To spread Allah's justice in the earth. In this respect, when he said, "Do not cause me any difficulty in my work," he meant that a Prophet, who has been commissioned by Allah and who is working to spread the truth on earth, forgetting his promise in the face of injustice and speaking the justice of the truth would not bring any deficiency to Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', and to silence a Prophet in the face of injustice is to cause difficulty to the Prophet in his work.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 73 of Surah Al-Kahf. Moses: Do not take me to task for what I forgot, do not make things hard for me because of it, he said. Yes.

Moses (peace be upon him) said to Khidr (peace be upon him): Because I forgot the promise I gave you, do not call me to account, and do not make things hard for me in my work.

The work of Moses (peace be upon him) is to convey the truth. It is, while inviting people to Allah, to treat no one unjustly or badly. It is to spread Allah's justice on earth. In this respect, do not take me to task for (?). In this respect, when he says do not make things hard for me in my work – he is to spread Allah's command, His justice, on earth, after all; his work, the work of Moses, is that. Just as a prophet charged by Allah and working to spread the truth on earth forgetting, in the face of injustices, the promise he gave and speaking the justice of the truth brings no shortcoming to Moses (peace be upon him), so silencing a prophet in the face of injustice is making things hard for the prophet in his work.
