Translation

“Regarding the boy; his parents were among the believers (mu’min), and the child was a transgressor and a denier.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) has sent people to the world of property for a test. He has written people's destinies for them according to their desires and wishes.

Therefore, this disbelieving child whom Allah (swt) had given to this believing mother and father as a test, this mother and father considered this disbelieving child as a trust that Allah (swt) had given to them and they gained Allah's pleasure by treating the disbelieving child well. As a reward, Allah (swt) wanted to replace him with a believer son who would be obedient to them and serve his parents. In that sense, this boy was also slaughtered.

What is said in the video

In Surah Al-Kahf, verse 80: as for the boy,

his parents were believers. For this, the child was rebellious and a person of kufr. Allah Almighty sent people to the material world for a test. And He wrote people's destinies for them according to each one's desire and wish. Therefore, the one Allah Almighty gave these believing parents as a test, this child of kufr, these parents saw as a trust that Allah Almighty had given them, and by treating the child of kufr well, they won Allah's pleasure. And as a reward, Allah Almighty wished to give them, in place of that child, one who would obey them and serve the parents, a believing child. That is why this child was killed.
