Verily, We made him mighty on earth. And We gave him means for everything he needed.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) has sent people to the realm of property, which is a realm of the unseen. In this unseen realm, He sent Prophets to inform people about Himself. Over time, landslides and collapses have separated the continents from each other and people have moved away from each other.
Allah Ta'ala taught Zulqarnayn the sciences that he did not know on earth and gave the things at his command, and Zulqarnayn, in the impossibilities of that time, with the sciences that Allah Ta'ala taught him, built vehicles to travel around the world and introduced Allah to the people in all the places he visited. He gave Zulqarnayn the power to declare that there is no God but Allah.

We have come to Surah Al-Kahf, verse 84. Indeed, We made him a possessor of power and might on earth. We gave him a cause, a means and a way for everything he needed, it says.
Allah Almighty sent people to the material world, which is a world of the unseen. In this unseen world, He sent prophets to make His Being known to people. Over time, through landslides and subsidence of the earth, the continents separated from one another, and people grew distant from one another. So Allah Almighty, by teaching Dhul-Qarnayn (?) sciences he did not know, placed things under his command, and Dhul-Qarnayn, amid the lack of means of that time, with the knowledge Allah Almighty taught him, built means to travel around the world, and in all the places he went, he made Allah known to people.
To make known that there is no god other than Allah, He made Dhul-Qarnayn a possessor of power.
