Translation

“And for the one who believes and commits righteous deeds (salih deeds), there is a beautiful reward. And from Our order, we will tell them what is easy.”

Tafsir

As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, Allah will give them excellent rewards for what they did. He will also say what is the easiest of his commandments.

Allah has created heaven and hell. He will put those who obey Him in Paradise and those who disobey Him in Hell. Hell is a place of hardship and torment. The easiest of Allah's commands is to say, "We will tell him," and to say to those who do righteous deeds, "Enter My Paradise. He will reward those who obey Allah with Paradise, where there will be no hardship or torment, and their every wish and desire will be fulfilled.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 88 of Surah Al-Kahf.

As for whoever believes and acts well, for him there is the finest reward. And from Our command We will tell him what is easy. As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, Allah, as a reward for what they did, will give them very beautiful rewards. Moreover, He will tell the easiest of His command. Allah has created Paradise and Hell. Verse 88: I suppose we haven't read its equivalent. Verse 88 says: as for whoever believes and acts well, for him there is the finest reward, and from Our command We will tell him what is easy. How beautiful. Allah Almighty, in the realm of the hereafter, if we went there with faith, will to that person, out of mercy, ask easy questions and send him to the place he deserves, to His Paradise.

That is exactly what it says. As for whoever believes and acts well, for him there is the finest reward. There is the finest reward, and from Our command We will tell him what is easy. That is: you performed your prayer, didn't you? He does pray anyway, He knows it after all; these righteous servants, let us behave well toward Allah in the realm of this world. To those who carry out His command. What will He say? You performed your prayer, didn't you? Yes. Yes, O Allah. Oh, look, he isn't saying this. And you kept your fast too, didn't you? I did, O Allah. Well, you had money, didn't you? You went on Hajj.

If he went on Hajj, He asks anyway. Yes, O Allah. I carried out Your command. Well, you already knew about the resurrection after death too, didn't you? Yes, I knew, O Allah. Come on now, go to your place. How beautiful. What comes easiest to him. What comes easiest to him. How beautifully Allah Almighty shows us mercy. Us, would He ever intend injustice? Think of a father. Would he intend injustice for his children? Even if he had thousands, millions of children, would he discriminate among them? The Prophet says this: Except those who discriminate. We are talking about a father. Not about the unjust.

What does he say to the Prophet? Who is called unjust? he says. A father who discriminates among his children is also unjust, he says. We are not talking about unjust fathers. We are talking about a father. Fathers are compassionate toward their children; well, even if they had thousands of children, they would not discriminate among them. He does not hold one above another. Consider that Allah Almighty has sent one percent of His mercy to the earth. One percent. The ninety-nine percent, He says, I have kept for Myself for the Day of Judgment, when I judge My servants, He says. Now think how much more is our Lord's compassion, mercy and love for people.

Yes.

One does not turn one's back on such an Allah. One is not ungrateful to such a Creator of ours.

Even if we worshipped day and night, we could not repay what is due to our Lord. Yes. But there is this:

So that we can use this body, which He gave us as a trust, up to a certain lifespan, so that we can keep it healthy and fit, He also created sleep for the body, He also created eating and drinking for the body, but from what is lawful and in normal measure. Yes.

What does Surah Al-Kahf, verse 88, say? As for whoever believes and acts well, for him there is the finest reward, and from Our command We will tell him what is easy. As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, Allah, as a reward for what they did, will give them very beautiful rewards. Moreover, He will tell the easiest of His command. Allah has created Paradise and Hell. He will admit those who obey Allah to Paradise, and those who do not obey Allah to Hell. Hell is a place of hardship and torment. So Allah's saying, "From Our command We will tell him the easiest," is His saying to those who do righteous deeds: Enter My Paradise.

By granting His Paradise to those who obey Allah, He makes known that there is no hardship or torment there, and that all their wishes and desires will be met. Yes.
