Tafsir
When Zulqarnayn offered the price that these people would pay in return for their request from Zulqarnayn, Zulqarnayn replied to this people as follows: "The blessing and power in which my Lord has placed me is better. You support me with your strength and I will make an insurmountable barrier between you and them. This is because Allah taught Zulqarnayn knowledge from His Essence, and also made Zulqarnayn the owner of power and might in the world. He has given him knowledge for everything he needs.
In this respect, the blessings that Allah gave to Zulqarnayn are purer and better than the blessings of this world that people offer.
Zulqarnayn did not accept the favors offered to him by this people and ordered them to support him with their forces. He promised to build an impenetrable wall between Gog and Magog.
