“And thus, they could not go over it or penetrate it.”
Tafsir
The tribe of Ye'jjj and Me'jjj, who were corrupting and harassing people in that town and even eating the flesh of the people they killed, could neither overcome nor penetrate this barrier that Zulqarnayn had made.
It is because of the might and power that Allah has given to Zulqarnayn that Zulqarnayn has performed such wonders with the permission of Allah.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Kahf, verse 97: Therefore they were neither able to scale it nor could they pierce it. This barrier Dhul-Qarnayn had made: the people who spread corruption in that land and plagued people, who even ate the flesh of those they killed, this people of Gog and Magog could neither scale this barrier nor pierce it. So with the power and authority Allah Almighty had given him, Dhul-Qarnayn, by the permission of Allah Almighty, brought about such wonders.
