They are the ones who denied the verses of their Lord and denied that they will reach their Lord, and thus whose deeds have gone in vain. For these, We will not keep a measure on the Day of Judgment.
Tafsir
Those who disbelieve in Allah (swt) and do not believe in the Hereafter, who say that there is no resurrection after death, who do not take lessons from their own creation, all their good deeds in this world have been in vain.
The loss of their good deeds in this world and the disappearance of what they have earned has bankrupted them in the Hereafter. If a bankrupt person has nothing left in his hand and palm, there is no measure of it. They are deprived of Allah's mercy in return for the losses they have suffered, and they will be eternal in Hell. Those who disbelieve in the Verses of their Lord and do not hope to meet Him will be rewarded for what they have done in the life of this world with eternal torment in their eternal life.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 105 of Surah Al-Kahf. Alhamdulillah. "Those are the ones who deny the verses of their Lord and the meeting with Him, so their deeds have gone to waste, and on the Day of Resurrection We will set up for them no measure on the side of good," He says. On the side of good. Now what happened here? It confirmed the other verse. All the good works they did in the world went to waste. So, no measure on the side of good. Gone. So those who deny Allah Almighty and do not believe in the Hereafter, who say there is no resurrection after death, who take no lessons from their own creation: all the good works they did in the world have gone to waste. Why did they go to waste?
You know, we do good deeds, we commit sins, our good deeds become atonement for our sins, they take them away; well, let it be so for this too, fine. Let it be. It will be. I mean, it had gone to waste. It went to waste, so how will it be? Let us explain that part. Now when a Muslim does good, he does it seeking his Lord's pleasure. When these people do good, they worship either a nonexistent lord, a god they associate as a partner. That still counts as a good deed for the person, but not for Allah. Since it is not for Allah, his good deed is not taken into account by his Lord. If that good deed had been taken into account by his Lord, his worship of that god would have been permissible. That is, it would have been valid with Allah Almighty. That is why their good deeds, worldly deeds, they do by associating partners with Allah or to gain their worldly interests, for themselves. Not for Allah.
How do we know Allah? Self-subsisting by His essence, created by no one, who has not begotten and was not begotten, and by the name Hu, that is, by His essence self-subsisting: that is how we know Allah. Because a non-Muslim does not know Him this way, all the good deeds he does are either for his own worldly interest or for the idols he worships, and so for them the scale on the side of good is not set up. So why the scale on the side of good is not set up, why his good works went to waste, why they did not atone for his sins, is clear now, I suppose. Yes, so those who deny Allah Almighty and do not believe in the Hereafter, who say there is no resurrection after death, who take no lessons from their own creation: all the good works they did in the world have gone to waste.
Their good works in the world going to waste, and what they earned disappearing, has made the person bankrupt in the realm of the Hereafter. And a bankrupt person, if nothing is left in his hands and palms, is not held to this measure. In return for the losses they suffered, when they are also deprived of Allah's attribute of mercy, they become people of Hell forever. Forever. There is no more salvation for them. So those who deny the verses of their Lord and do not hope to meet Him will, in their eternal life, the endless pain and agony, the torments that will cause agony, which they earned in worldly life, the recompense of what they did, forever see. And Hell will surround them on all sides. There is no way out of it ever again.
