Tafsir

Those who associate partners with Allah and say that Allah has adopted children, neither their ancestors nor they themselves have any knowledge of Allah. But because they are subject to their nafs, they say that we found our ancestors on this path. By saying that they follow their ancestors, these people who associate polytheism with Allah deify themselves by being subject to their ego, even though they know that the way their ancestors followed was also wrong. In this case, they deceive their ego and blame their ancestors by saying that they follow the way of their ancestors. They follow the same path because their ancestors' saying that Allah has adopted children is pleasing to them and suits their interests. Out of their pride and arrogance, they satisfy their ego desires by rebelling against Allah in the presence of one another, as if they had achieved heroism and success. They are deceived by the transitory worldly life, and they accept while they are still in this world that they have wronged their souls and that they will suffer a painful punishment in the Hereafter. Among those who say that Allah has adopted children, the Arabs, who were polytheists in the time of ignorance, said that angels are the daughters of Allah. The Jews called Uzeyr the son of Allah. The Christians, on the other hand, called Jesus the son of Allah, and they were subject to conjecture without any knowledge about Allah.

Allah does not need sons and daughters. Allah is One and the Creator. He creates what He wants in the way He wants. He does not need anyone. All creation is in need of Allah. Therefore, those who ascribe shirk to Allah (swt), those who say that Allah is three, and those who say that Allah has adopted a child, have spoken very great words without having any knowledge about Allah. If they do not repent and pass on to the Hereafter in this state, they will incur the wrath of Allah.

For this is nothing but a lie about Allah that is invented by people who do not want to understand Allah and realize that He is one God and that there is no other God besides Him.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Kahf, verse 5. These are quite long.

"Neither those who say Allah has taken a son nor their forefathers have any knowledge of this. How grave is this word that comes out of their mouths. They speak nothing but a lie," it says. Verse 5 of Surah Al-Kahf. Neither the forefathers of those who associate partners with Allah and say Allah has taken a son, nor they themselves have any knowledge about Allah. But because they follow their nafs, they say: we found our forefathers on this path. These people who associate partners with Allah, by saying they follow their forefathers, although they actually know themselves that the path their forefathers took is wrong, follow their nafs and make gods of themselves.

In this case, deceiving their nafs, by saying that they follow the path of their forefathers, they want to put the blame on their forefathers. Because their forefathers saying "Allah has taken children" pleases them and suits (?), they follow the same path. Out of pride and arrogance, by rebelling against Allah in front of one another, as if they had done something heroic and achieved a success, they satisfy the cravings of their nafs. Deceived by this state of the passing worldly realm, that they wrong their own souls, and the painful punishment they will meet in the realm of the hereafter, they knowingly, while still in worldly life, accept. So among those who say Allah has taken children: in the age of ignorance, the polytheist Arabs saying the angels are Allah's daughters, the Jews calling Ezra the son of Allah, and the Christians calling Jesus the son of Allah; these are the ones who, although they have no knowledge about Allah, follow conjecture.

Allah has no need of a child or (?). Allah is One and He is the Creator. He creates what He wills as He wills, and needs no one. All created beings are in need of Allah. In this respect, those who associate partners with Allah Almighty, those who say Allah (?), those who say Allah has taken a child, although they have no knowledge about Allah, have uttered very grave words. If they do not repent and pass on to the hereafter in this state, they will incur the wrath of Allah. For in saying Allah has taken a child, this is nothing but lies that people who do not want to understand Allah and to grasp that He is One and that there is no other god besides Him have invented about Allah.
