Surely, We have made everything on earth an ornament for it (the world), so that people will witness to themselves who they truely are.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) has made the earth an ornament and adornment for mankind so that when they come to the realm of property, they can live out their destiny with their own desires and wishes, with their own will, with their own willpower, in proportion to the covenant they made with Allah (swt) when they were in the state of spirits, and so that they can hold themselves as witnesses against Allah (swt) and say, "This is what I am." Allah (swt) has made the earth an ornament and adornment for mankind. Whatever is on the earth, gold, silver, rubies, diamonds, whatever there is on the earth, including the earth and its stones, Allah has made it an ornament and adornment for mankind. Do those who possess wealth and property, and their use of it, and their love, desire and desire for Allah's creatures, make them forget Allah, or do they give thanks, realizing that Allah has bestowed upon them a bounty and a gift?
When people acquire the world, their behavior towards the world, their possession of the world, whether lawful or unlawful, earns them its rewards and sins. With this behavior, people make themselves witnesses against themselves, their surroundings, and Allah (swt) in the earth, which is a realm of the unseen and veiled.
What is said in the video
We have come to the seventh verse of Surah Al-Kahf. A verse that is explained wrongly. Let's look at it here too, at why we have explained it wrongly. The seventh verse of Surah Al-Kahf. Let's see. Surah Al-Kahf, seventh verse. "So that We may test which of people will do better deeds" — look, look, look, Allah — there is not a single living being to come until the Day of Judgment (?). As the rendering of the verse: "that We not know what a living being will do." With what attribute does it describe Allah Almighty? Now what does it say? "So that We may test which of people will do better deeds, We made everything on earth, the world, an adornment of its own," it says.
Look, and on top of that it makes the world look beautiful to him. and leaves people to themselves, and Allah Almighty does not know what those people will do. These are scholars. They write translations. They are scholars.
So that people, within their own wishes and desires, prove to themselves what kind of people they are, We made everything on earth, the world, an adornment of its own. The world, of its own. I mean, isn't the world beautiful, wasn't it created beautiful? Truly, the mountains, the streams, the plains, the highland pastures, the seas, sir, those pastures and even the poles have a beauty of their own. The poles, yes. When people were spirits at Kalu Bela, in proportion to the covenants they gave to Allah Almighty, the fates written for them, once they come to the world of creation, with their own wishes and desires, with the partial will in them, so that they live their own fates and hold themselves as witnesses before Allah Almighty and are made to say: this is what I am — for this Allah Almighty made the earth an ornament and adornment for mankind.
Yes, the materials on the earth, gold, silver, ruby, diamond, whatever there is, including stone and soil, Allah created these as an ornament with adornment at people's disposal. Their being created at people's disposal means man, being the vicegerent of the earth, spends them as he wishes within his own freedom. Because he is its vicegerent, it has been given at his disposal. But besides that, Allah Almighty says: do not waste. Yes. Those who own goods and property, their taking and using them, toward what Allah created the love, wishes and desires they feel — do these make them forget Allah? Or, realizing that it is a favor, a grace and a kindness of Allah to them, are they grateful?
So when people earn and acquire the world, their behavior toward the world, their owning the world in a halal or haram way, earns them their rewards and sins. And with these behaviors, for the covenants they gave to Allah Almighty at Kalu Bela, people on the earth, a hidden and veiled world, will have themselves, before themselves, before those around them and before Allah Almighty, made witnesses to them.
