Translation
Peace be upon him on the day of his birth, on the day of his death and on the day in which he will be resurrected!
Tafsir
Hadrat Yahya 'alaihis-salâm' was elevated in the sight of Allah with his inherent devotion to Allah and was praised by Allah (swt). The day Hazrat Yahya 'alaihis-salâm was born was the day he was born. The day he dies is the day his life ends.
Allah (swt) was pleased with Hazrat Yahya in the lifetime he lived between these two times. Because Hadrat Yahya was a very abstinent Prophet. Allah (swt) salutes him for his strict adherence to Allah's commands. (On the day when he will be raised alive from his grave) means that he will be in eternal bliss in the Hereafter, where there will be no more death, and that he will be in salvation for that day. He shows people Hadrat Yahya 'alaihis-salâm' as an example.
Another meaning is that he will be raised alive from his grave; some of the Sabikun, the Prophets, the martyrs and the saints, are souls who gained strength while they were in the world. They only taste death. Allah (swt) says about the martyrs (do not call them dead, they are provided for in ways you do not know). If the martyrs are like this, the Prophets are surely alive.
Allah does not waste what people do. It is the glad tidings that Allah will increase the rewards of those who do not fail in worship and obedience to Him and who repent and abstain many times over, and that Allah Himself will greet them with a smiling face in the Hereafter and that they will be in peace.

Verse 15. On the day he was born, the day he dies and the day he is raised alive from the grave, peace be upon him.
John (peace be upon him), through the devotion to Allah in his very nature, rose in Allah's sight and became worthy of the praise of Allah Almighty. John (peace be upon him) is a trust that our Lord gave to Zechariah (peace be upon him), that is, his son.
When Zechariah (peace be upon him) went in to Mary, whose care he had taken on, he would find food beside her. 'O Mary, who gives you this?' 'My Lord sends it,' she would say. He asks Allah Almighty for a righteous child. And Allah Almighty gives him the glad tidings of John.
And He says: the day John (peace be upon him) was born is the day he came into the world. The day he dies is the day his life ends. In the life he lived between these two times, Allah Almighty was pleased with John. Because John is a prophet who was very God-fearing. Because he held fast to Allah's commands, Allah Almighty greets him with peace. His saying 'the day he is raised alive (?) from his grave' means that in the hereafter, where there is no more death, on that day when he is honoured with the abode of eternal bliss, he is in safety — that is what it makes known. To people, it shows John (peace be upon him) as an example.
John (peace be upon him), John (peace be upon him), was very obedient to his mother and father. That is, a prophet who fully fulfilled his duty as a child. Yes.
In another sense of 'being raised alive from his grave': the prophets, the martyrs and some of the saints, who are among the foremost, are, while in this world, souls that have gained strength. These only (?). Allah Almighty says about the martyrs: do not call them dead. They are provided for in ways you do not know. If the martyrs are like this, then the prophets are surely alive too. Allah does not let people's deeds go to waste. Those who do not fall short in obedience and worship to Allah Almighty, and who are much given to repentance, the God-fearing — He will multiply their rewards many times over, and Allah Himself will receive them in the hereafter (?), and they will be in safety: these are the glad tidings He gives.
