Does he know the unknown or did he take a word from Allah’s side?
Tafsir
Allah (swt) says to those who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter and who say, "I will have wealth and children," that Allah (swt) knows the unseen, and that Allah (swt) knows what will be given to people and how it will be given and how it will be divided. In this case, a person who speaks in his own whim is not only speaking a lie, but he is also making a decision on behalf of Allah (swt), and this person will be subjected to punishment on both sides. He suffers torment in this world by living with a narrow heart and inner unrest, and in the Hereafter he will be deprived of Allah's mercy and suffer eternal torment.
In order to inform people that they cannot know the unseen and that they live unaware of what will be given to whom and what will be taken from whom, Allah (swt) says in His verse (or did He take a promise from Allah) that Allah (swt) knows all the unseen and that these worlds were created according to a program and that only Allah knows this program, and that if Allah wills, He will partially reveal it to His beloved ones. When these loved ones partially disclose these things, they are performing a miracle, except that no one other than Allah can know the unseen.
What is said in the video
Verse 78, verse 78. Has he known the unseen, or has he taken a pledge from Allah, says Allah Almighty? Has he known the unseen? Look at people's ignorance. Just as, with such a faith, he awaited in the realm of the hereafter the Lord of his imagination, and when He said before him "I am your Lord", our Lord who created all beings, with such grudge and hatred, with a feeling full of hatred he denied Him — look at the words he says. I will have wealth and property, I will have children, I will give it to you in the hereafter. Yes. And how beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. Has he known the unseen? Or has he taken a pledge from Allah?
Allah Almighty, addressing those who do not believe in Allah and the hereafter and say "I will have wealth and children", by saying "has he known the unseen", makes known that what people will be given, and how it is given and how it is distributed, is known by Allah. In this case a person who speaks out of his own whims has both lied and decided in place of Allah Almighty, so this person, to a twofold punishment, (?) remains. He suffers torment both by living in this world with a narrowness of heart and inner unrest, and in the hereafter, deprived of Allah's mercy, he becomes subject to eternal punishment.
So, to tell people that people cannot know the unseen, that who will be given what and from whom what will be taken, they live unaware of it — to tell people this, Allah Almighty saying in His verse "or has he taken a pledge from Allah" shows that Allah knows all the unseen, and that these worlds were created within a program, and that only Allah knows this program, that if Allah wills He will make it known to those He loves partially. And so He makes known some events of the future to His saints. That is, He makes known some of the events He has programmed. Such and such a situation will arise there.
For example, some of what we said: about Turkey's surroundings, 40 years ago we said it, as a "Ring of Fire". Well, for example, that our lifetime is between two wars — well, the wars are approaching too. And I am eighty anyway, my end is approaching too. When those He loves partially reveal these, they show a karamat, and apart from this no one but Allah can know the unseen. Even that, Allah Almighty made known to His servant because He loves him.
