Because of this, the heavens will almost shatter, the earth will crack, and the mountains collapse and vanish.
Tafsir
These people who slandered Allah, those who said that Allah has adopted a child, almost caused the Apocalypse to break because of their slander; when Allah said, "The heavens will crack," He meant that all the galaxies will come together, when He said, "The earth will split and the mountains will collapse," He meant that the order He created will be disrupted, and the rapid rotation of the earth around its axis, the splitting of the earth, the swelling of the seas, and the throwing of the mountains like cotton wool is the breaking of the Apocalypse. When Allah (swt) slandered these people, He almost raised the apocalypse and would have taken them to account in the Hereafter and thrown them into Hell, their eternal abode of fire and torment.
But a promise has come from Allah. Allah will bring all the souls He has created into the world, and after He has made them witnesses against their own souls, He will resurrect them in the Hereafter and send them to their rightful place. In accordance with this promise and plan, since there are people who will come afterwards, Allah has given those who slander Allah the right to live in their lifetime. Allah (swt) is exempt from any imperfect attributes. At the end of their lives, He will give everyone the punishment and position they deserve.

Verse 90: Because of this the heavens would almost split, the earth would crack open, the mountains would collapse and fall, it says. He says this about the people who slander Allah. As in: the daughters are Allah's, He says, (?) and the sons are yours? He says. What kind of division is this, Allah Almighty says. What an unjust division this is, He says. Yes, because of this the heavens would almost split, the earth would crack open, the mountains would collapse and fall. They make such slanders against Me that, He says, I would almost bring about the Day of Judgment, He says. Yes, these people who slander Allah, who say Allah has taken a child: because of the slanders they commit, Allah would almost bring about the Day of Judgment.
When it says the heavens would split, it means all the galaxies crashing into each other; when it says the earth would crack open, the mountains would collapse and go, the order He created would be disrupted; the world's rapid spinning around its own axis, the splitting of the ground, the swelling of the seas, the mountains being tossed about like carded cotton: that is the coming of the Day of Judgment. Because these people slander the Essence of Allah Almighty, He would almost bring about the Day of Judgment, call them to account in the Hereafter and cast them into Hell, their eternal place of fire and torment.
But one of our Lord's names is also as-Sabur. He is patient, He will wait. Patient. Yes.
But a word had gone forth from Allah. Allah will bring all the souls He created into the world. After making them witnesses against their own selves, He will resurrect them in the Hereafter and send everyone to the place they deserve. So, since according to this word and plan more people are still to come, to those who slander Allah like this, Allah has given the right to live within their lifespans. Allah Almighty is free from deficient attributes. At the end of their lives He will give everyone the punishment and rank they deserve. Yes.
