Translation

Then, Satan deceived him and said, “Oh Adam! Should I show to you the tree of longevity and a never-ending wealth?”

Tafsir

Satan found a way to come to Hadrat Adam (peace be upon him) in Paradise. He confused Adam by swearing to him in the name of Allah. The point at which Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) is confused is that Iblis finds it strange that Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) is offered the tree of eternity and an endless reign. Hadrat Adam thinks. Iblis is his enemy. Allah (swt) Himself has made it known that Iblis is his enemy by advising Adam. So why would Iblis inform him about the tree of eternity and an endless kingdom? Then why would Iblis advise Hazrat Adam and not use this tree and the endless reign for himself? In many such ways, questions arise in Hazrat Adam.

However, since Hazrat Adam 'alaihis-salâm' was created as a human being, the equal of all creations, he did not indulge in evil thoughts and in goodwill, perhaps he regretted that the devil did not prostrate to him and that he had rebelled against Allah. He thinks that he will do a good deed to win Adam's favor and make him forgive himself to Allah (swt). While Adam was in these good thoughts, Satan swore in the name of Allah that the forbidden tree would give him eternity and everlastingness. Adam, who knew that one cannot lie in the name of Allah (swt), was confused at this point, believed the devil and ate the fruit of that tree. In this way, Adam 'alaihis-salâm' fell for the lie of Shaytan, whom Allâhu ta'âlâ had declared to be his enemy, and he approached the tree that Allâhu ta'âlâ had forbidden, and by eating its fruit, he became a rebel against Allâhu ta'âlâ. In this case, their modesty will be opened to them. But what is done is done.

What is said in the video

Verse 120, Surah Ta-Ha 120. Then Satan confused his mind and said: O Adam, shall I show you the tree of eternity and a kingdom that never ends? — we say. Supposing he finds a way and comes into Paradise to Adam (peace be upon him) — what does Satan do? Satan finds a way, in Paradise he comes to Adam (peace be upon him), he deceives Ridwan, the gatekeeper of Paradise, and gets in. Swearing to him by Allah, he confuses the mind of Adam (peace be upon him). The point at which the mind of Adam (peace be upon him) was confused is this: Iblis offering Adam (peace be upon him) the tree of eternity and a never-ending kingdom for himself. He finds it strange.

Adam thinks. Iblis is his enemy. That Iblis is his enemy, Allah Almighty Himself made known to Adam (peace be upon him) by advising him. Then why would Iblis make known the tree of eternity and a never-ending kingdom to him? And why would Iblis not use this tree and the never-ending kingdom for himself, but recommend it to Adam? In many such ways questions arise in Adam. But since Adam (peace be upon him) was created as a human, the noblest of creation among created beings, he does not fall into bad thoughts and, with good intent, thinks perhaps Satan, having rebelled against Allah by not prostrating to him, has felt remorse.

To win the heart of Adam (peace be upon him) and to have himself forgiven by Allah Almighty, he would do a good deed — so he thinks. While our forefather Adam was in these good thoughts, Satan, about the forbidden tree, that it would give eternity and endlessness, swore by Allah. When he swore by Allah — Adam (peace be upon him), of course, does not know such things. That is, he does not know that lies would be told about Allah, that Allah, well, would be denied. So he believes when "by Allah" is said; they are pure, clean people. The first created. He believes. Adam (peace be upon him), knowing that no lie would be told in the name of Allah Almighty, had his mind confused at this point and, believing Satan, ate the fruit of that tree.

In this way Adam (peace be upon him), falling for the lie of Satan, whom Allah Almighty had declared his enemy, approaches the tree Allah Almighty had forbidden, and by eating its fruit he has rebelled against Allah. Then their private parts became exposed to them, but what happened has happened.

Yes.
