Translation

They said, “We have suffered misfortune because of you and the ones with you.” (Shelah) said, “The misfortune that struck you is (written) in Allah’s sight. No, you are a nation which is being put through tribulations (trials).”

Tafsir

The people of Hadrat Salih responded to his address by saying, "We have been jinxed because of you and those who were with you." The reason they said this was that Allah (swt) had given them a drought and famine. The reason they said this is that Allah (swt) had given them a drought and famine. These people, who disbelieved in Allah, spoke of this drought as a jinx, believing that it had befallen them because of Salih and his followers.

Hadrat Salih said to them in reply: "The cause of your misfortune is (written) in the Presence of Allah. No, you are a people who are being tested. Prophet Salih both reminded his people of Allah and told them the truth. Whatever will happen until the Day of Judgment, wet or dry, is written in Allah's Book. When the time comes, these events will happen.

Although Prophet Salih warned this people and warned them with his Prophets not to stray away from the truth, they did not listen to Prophet Salih, this people, who were unintelligent and cruel to their own souls, did not listen to Prophet Salih. Although they had seen many miracles, they still thought badly of their Prophet and dared to set traps and kill Hadrat Salih 'alaihis-salâm'.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Naml, verse 47. They said thus: Who? Salih's people. Because of you and those with you, we have been struck by bad omen. What was this bad omen? The rains did not fall, a drought came. Yes. Whereas if a friend of Allah stays in a town, that town is a safe town, a safe town. Salih: The cause of the bad omen that has befallen you is written with Allah, he says. No, you are a people being put to the test, he said. Yes. Well, let me tell you. The people of Prophet Salih (peace be upon him), to Prophet Salih's (peace be upon him) addresses, reply thus: Because of you and those with you we have been struck by bad omen, they say. The reason this people said so is that Allah Almighty gave this people a drought and famine. These people who denied Allah, describing this drought as a bad omen, and believing it had come upon them because of Prophet Salih and those who followed him, spoke in this way.

Yes.

Prophet Salih, in reply to them, said: The cause of the bad omen that has befallen you is written with Allah. No. You are a people being put to the test. So the Prophet Salih both reminds his people of Allah and tells them the truths. Wet and dry, whatever will happen until the Day of Judgment is written with Allah. When its time comes, these events appear. Yes. So, for this people to come to their senses, and besides the warnings given through their prophets, although with warnings the Prophet Salih explained their straying from the truth to his people, this people who would not listen to reason, who were very unjust to their own selves, did not listen to the Prophet Salih.

Despite seeing many miracles, still about their prophet thinking evil, they set traps for Prophet Salih (peace be upon him), going as far as daring to kill him. They talk among themselves. Salih's people are strong too; then once they understand, and once they become enemies (?), they say. Yes.
