Mankind has been created to being hasty (in nature). I will show My Signs to you, do not ask Me to be hasty.
Tafsir
Man is created in a hurry. The reason for this is. Since the sixty or seventy years of life that man lives in the worldly realm is like an hour and a half compared to the hereafter, he subconsciously knows that his life span is very short without his knowledge. In this respect, man wants something he desires in the world to happen immediately. In this respect, man is in a hurry.
When the Prophet (pbuh) used to explain about Allah, that there is no god but Allah, that this whole universe and all that exists was created by Allah, that it is all Allah's, the disbelievers used to mock the Prophet (pbuh). They would say, "If you are the Prophet, why don't you bring us a miracle like the ancients brought? Allah (swt) says, "I will show you My signs; do not ask Me in haste". The first meaning here is that since Allah has created all these worlds with a program, everything has a time and duration. When this time is up, it will happen. No one can prevent this. Another meaning is that according to the verse that says a thousand years of this world is like a day of the Hereafter, sixty or seventy years of human life is like an hour or an hour and a half. I will show you My Verses; when we are resurrected in the Hereafter, we will ask each other how long we stayed under the earth, some will say ten days and the wisest will say one day or less. Behold, I will show you My Signs; do not ask Me in haste, he says, for the Signs of Allah will be seen in the Hereafter.
What is said in the video
Man was created with a hasty nature; that is how hasty we are, all of us. When we want something right away, when we prepare for it, he says: let it happen. He says, let's do this.
Yet man must be patient; that is why Allah Almighty recommends patience to man: be patient. Allah Almighty, too, created the worlds with patience when He created them. With patience. He said "kun", that is, "be", yet it did not happen just like that. These worlds were not created from letters and words. Look, what does Allah Almighty say? I created the earth in two days, the heavens in two days, and what is between them in two days. Six days in all. These six days, the world day I mean, before the world's days were even created, Allah Almighty says this according to the day of the hereafter. The day of the hereafter compared to the world's day: a thousand years of this world's days are one day of the hereafter. So in two thousand years He created the earth. The earth in two thousand years, by world days.
For two thousand years He creates the heavens. Two thousand years for what is between them. Look at the patience, the patience! Look at the patience. And look at the finest of creation within this patience. You cannot find a single flaw.
Such a firm, orderly and proper creation. As a human does: you made this, it didn't work, go back, undo it again, do this like this, it doesn't work. What does Allah say? He creates what He creates firmly. That is, He creates it in the most beautiful way. A form above it, more beautiful, cannot even be conceived. Yes, man was created hasty. The reason is that man, since he lives the sixty or seventy years of his life in this world like a span of an hour and a half compared to the hereafter, at root, without being aware of it himself, subconsciously, that his life is very short knows. Therefore man wants something he desires in this world to happen at once.
Therefore man is hasty.
So when the Prophet (peace be upon him), too, explained Allah, that there is no god other than Allah, that this whole universe and all beings were created by Allah, that all of it belongs to Allah, when he made this known, the unbelievers would mock the Prophet (peace be upon him) and say: If you are a prophet, then as those of old brought, why don't you bring us a miracle? Thereupon Allah Almighty says: I will show you My signs. Do not ask Me to hasten.
Here, in the first meaning, since Allah created all these worlds according to a program, everything has its coming-to-be, its time and its hour. When this time and hour come, what is to happen will happen. No one can prevent it. Another meaning is, according to the verse in which He says a thousand years of this world are like one day of the hereafter, the sixty or seventy years of a human life are like one or one and a half hours. When He says I will show you My signs, do not ask Me to hasten: in the hereafter, when we are resurrected, we will ask one another how long we lay under the earth. Some will say ten days, and the wisest will say: we stayed a day or even less, they will say. So where He says I will show you My signs, do not ask Me to hasten, it means Allah's signs will be seen in the hereafter.
