If the deniers only knew the time in which they will not be able to fend off fire from their faces and backs and in which they will not be helped.
Tafsir
When the Hour comes, the order of the worlds is disrupted. The sky will begin to flow like molten metal. Fire will surround those who disbelieve in Allah from before and behind them. They will no longer be able to ward off this fire. And those who disbelieve will be in the midst of a pure flaming fire in Hell, with this bond of fire rising up in front of them and behind them and enveloping them. He says that if they only knew the torment they would suffer, they would not hurry to see Our Verses.
Their cries or pleas for help will not benefit them. Because Allah has removed His mercy from them and they are left alone and desolate. May Allah protect us from such a fate.

In Surah Al-Anbiya we have come to verse 39.
Those who disbelieve, the fire surrounding their faces and their backs, will not be able to ward off. Allah forbid. When fire is kindled toward their faces, when it comes, from the intensity of that fire their faces will be scorched, their teeth will stick out. Just like a person grinning. Allah forbid. Those who disbelieve: the time when they cannot ward off the fire surrounding their faces and backs, when they cannot even help themselves, if only they knew it. They will not even be able to help themselves. You know, here, when I suffer a calamity, when I am trapped under a stone, or stay under the earth for a while and am still alive, I help myself.
I get out of there. Or when I see a torment, I go (?) toward some place. There, there you will not find (?). Yes. When the Day of Judgment comes, the order of the worlds is broken. The sky has begun to flow like molten (?). Fires have surrounded those who deny Allah, from in front of them and behind them. Their strength will no longer suffice to ward off this fire. Moreover, those who disbelieve, in hell, right in the middle of a bare flaming fire, from in front and behind them, with this band of fire rising and surrounding them, will be met. If only they knew the punishment they will suffer, they would not be in a hurry with Us to see Our signs, He says.
Their cries or their pleas for help will bring them no benefit. Because Allah has lifted His mercy from them; they are left all alone and without anyone. May Allah protect us all from such an end.
