Translation

To the contrary, it (the Day of Judgment) comes to them so unexpectedly that they will be surprised. They will not have strength against it, and they will not be given time.

Tafsir

Man does not know when and where he will die. He is attached to life, living in pleasure and boasting of his wealth as if he will never die. He does not think about and give thanks to the giver of these blessings, and he also denies the owner of these blessings. While he is living in pride, glory, fame, greatness, selfishness, arrogance, and love of the world, he realizes that his life is over in the blink of an eye and the angel of death, Azrael, has come to take his life. The end of his life when he least expects it is a surprise. Because the person is not prepared for death. As if he would never die, he did not mention the name of death, nor did he make calculations.

At such a time, when a person is alone with his death, when he is at the end of his rope, he realizes that he is going to die. The doors of repentance are closed. This person cannot turn back the life that is up to his throat, nor can he escape death. In this situation, when he turns to Allah and asks for respite to live the life of this world again and worship and serve Him, he will not be given any more respite. The time has come for everything and the time has come for them to see and taste the Signs of Allah that they desire.

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 40 of Surah Al-Anbiya.

Rather, that Day of Judgment comes upon them so suddenly, so suddenly, that's how it is. And now here I am talking to you, explaining.

All of a sudden I find the breath has gone, it's over. I mean, we have no proof that we will live until a certain time. That is why Allah Almighty says: long hopes are shirk. I mean: I will do this at this time like this, I will do that at that time like that. How can you decide in Allah's place? Ha! Say: I will do this at this time, inshallah. Ha! Now it's right. Inshallah. That is, if Allah permits, I will do this. I am saying: if I reach that time. Even if you reach that time and then cannot do it, even if you do not succeed in that task, you said inshallah, you reached that time: well, today things aren't suitable, I can't do it.

You still do not turn out a liar. Yes.

People do not know when and where they will die. Man clings to life. As if he will never die, in pleasure and amusement, boasting of his wealth, he lives. Not only does he not think of the One who gave him these blessings and give thanks, he even denies the Owner of these blessings. While he lives on in pride, glory, fame, grandeur, egotism, arrogance and love of the world, he suddenly sees that, in the blink of an eye, his life has run out, and the angel of death, Azrael (peace be upon him), has come to take his soul.

His life coming to an end, an end, at a moment he never expected has bewildered man. Because the person is not prepared for death. As if he would never die; just as he never even let the word death pass his lips, he has not settled his accounts either.

I, according to this verse, always keep myself ready for death. I do not want to violate anyone's rights.

I want to do everything with justice.

Of course we have faults; we are not faultless. Allah did not create a faultless servant. If you say I am (?), Allah forbid. We would have denied Allah's verse. Every human has faults. Even the Prophet (peace be upon him), who came as a mercy to the worlds, is, before Allah Almighty, at fault. To the worlds (?), before Allah Almighty, at fault. In this situation, at any moment, even if I have wealth, even if I have property, even if this, even if that, when at any moment I leave it all and go, and within me, oh, this I loved too much, if only I had (?) a little longer and used it, or if only I had (?) a little longer and lived on with these children and grandchildren, or a little longer in this (?) or in this summer place, if only I had lived a little longer, such feelings, satanic feelings of the nafs, even if they come, knowing the transience of this world, that if you love your Lord, the love of your Lord will suppress all of them, and that this world is but a shadow compared to that world, in longing for the hereafter, relying on his Lord and on his Lord's grace, on his Lord's pardon and forgiveness, going to the hereafter is what a person must always make his motto.

Yes. If there were such people on earth, the earth would turn into a festive atmosphere. Everyone would embrace one another, support one another, love and respect one another. They would bear no enmity toward one another, would not shed one another's blood. How beautifully Allah Almighty created man, and what a beautiful morality He laid down. But who will listen to this morality? Who will not earn sins, in the hereafter? Who will not oppose what Allah Almighty says? So such owners of the nafs, opposing Allah's command, to His punishment in the hereafter want to remain (?). If you ask him, in this world, he says: if there is a paradise, paradise is my right.

Because he is very clever, has wealth and property, and in pleasure and amusement there too he will live like that. He will have everything he says done. He imagines the hereafter is like this world. Yes. Just at such a time, when the person is left alone with his death, when the soul reaches the throat, he has understood that he will now die. The doors of repentance have closed too. This person can neither turn back the soul that has come up to his throat nor escape from death and be saved. In this state, when he turns to Allah and, to live the worldly life again and to worship and obey Him, asks for respite, he is not given respite again.

Now the time and hour of everything has come, and the time to see and taste the signs of Allah they wished for.
