Translation

Vow to Allah that!, once you depart, I will make a trick on your idols.

Tafsir

When Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' had given the truth to his people, they did not give up their idolatry and did not listen to Hadrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm'. Then he got angry with his people and made a plan in his mind to show them that they worship idols in ignorance and that these idols are not capable of anything and said, "I swear by Allah, after you leave, I will play a trick on your idols." He said this silently. He said this silently. It is also said that one of the people heard him speak.

It is a matter of courage to approach these idols and break them in the midst of so many idolaters and the leaders of his people who protected these idols. However, the fact that he swore in the name of Allah that he would play a trick on these idols of yours, caused Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' to put into practice what he had planned in his mind. When he took the opportunity to break the idols, he not only demonstrated his courage for the sake of Allah, but also fulfilled his oath.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 57: I swear by Allah, after you have left and gone away, I will play a trick on your idols, he says. How beautifully he puts it. Look at the courage, the love. Now, everyone loves Allah. You won't find a single Muslim who says, I don't love Allah. You won't find a single one. And I say: Loving Allah does not mean 'I have loved Allah'. Yes, you love Him, but that love is not worthy of Allah's love. If that love of yours were worthy of Allah's love, you would not suffer punishment in Hell. Even if you go there as a Muslim, you will come out of there, but in the end faith will reach perfection.

So how shall we love Allah Almighty?

We will love Him in one single way.

It is very simple. His love is very simple too. If we do everything we do to earn Allah's pleasure, we have received Allah's love. Look how beautiful. If we do everything we do to earn Allah's pleasure, then that's it. You cannot do evil. Impossible. Impossible. You cannot think ill of people. Impossible. However angry and irritated you get at people in your heart, you still wish mercy for them. Because you are going to earn Allah's pleasure. But how can I wish mercy for a man I'm angry with? How can I wish him mercy?

You will wish him mercy like this. You will earn Allah's pleasure; after all, my Lord did not create people free of error. Had these people received Allah Almighty's love, they would not have done this injustice to people in the first place. Everyone came to make themselves a witness to this world. Since I cannot change his destiny, O Allah, the right over me, my right over him, I have waived it for him.

That's all. Here you have won again. Again you have won. So earning Allah's pleasure means loving Allah. That is when Allah loves you too. You enter among the righteous servants. Otherwise: I love Allah. Ah, drink alcohol. I love Allah. Don't pray, don't fast, don't give zakat, gamble, commit adultery, take interest. I love Allah. Lie down, get up, (?). Love is something else. Yes, with worship. Hodja, don't we get reward? Well, you get reward, but alongside it, because you do what Allah does not want, you also incur sin.

One man, look, what does one poet say? Even poison from the beloved's hand is drunk. Even poison from the beloved's hand is drunk. If you love that beloved so much, if you go as far as drinking even the poison she gives you, then how do you, toward the Owner of the universe who created you with that love and affection, step outside His command like that, and then say you love Him? Yes.

Well, the world.

We have come to verse 57 of Surah Al-Anbiya.

Allah's Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 57: I swear by Allah, after you have left and gone away, I will play a trick on your idols. With that love, with that love, Abraham (peace be upon him) conveyed the truth to his people, yet his people, not giving up idolatry, did not listen to Abraham (peace be upon him). Thereupon, angry with his people, and since his people ignorantly worshipped idols, in order to show them that these idols are capable of nothing, he makes a plan in his mind and says: I swear by Allah, after you have left and gone away, I will play a trick on your idols. He said this silently.

It is also said that one person among the people heard these words. Among the leaders of his people, so idolatrous and protective of the idols, approaching these idols and breaking them is an act of courage. But inwardly saying, I will play a trick on these idols of yours, and swearing an oath, his swearing in Allah's name caused Abraham (peace be upon him) to put what he had planned in his mind into practice. Indeed, when he found the opportunity and broke the idols, he both displayed his courage for Allah and also fulfilled his oath. Now, when is he going to break them? He makes a plan of his own.

He sees that they have a day of gathering at a (?) place. On that day, when everyone goes there, the idols will be left unattended, and that is when I will break them, he says. He is waiting for (?).

Yes.
