We Commanded: “Oh fire, be cool and harmless to Abraham!”
Tafsir
Finally, the polytheists decided to burn Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' as a punishment for breaking their idols. So, a big fire was lit and they threw Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' into the fire with a catapult. This place is in Urfa and the catapults are still in place.
When Hazrat Ibrahim aleyhisselâm was thrown into the fire with a catapult, Allah (swt) said to the fire to be cool and peaceful. Because the opposite of fire, cold, is also burning. When a person holds a piece of iron with his hand at minus fifty to sixty degrees, the skin of his hand sticks to that piece of iron and burns. When Hazrat Ibrahim 'alaihis-salâm' fell into the middle of the fire, it became greenery and peace for him. According to a rumor, it is said to be the place where the current Balıklı Lake is located in Urfa.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 69. O fire! For Abraham be coolness and safety, We said, it says. For Abraham.
Finally, as punishment for the breaking of their idols, the polytheists decide to burn Abraham (peace be upon him). Thereupon a great fire is lit. They throw Abraham (peace be upon him) into the fire with a catapult. This place is in Urfa, and the catapults still stand in place.
When Abraham (peace be upon him) was thrown into the fire with the catapult, Allah Almighty says to the fire: Be coolness and safety. Why is he thrown into the fire with a catapult? They pile up wood like a mountain. Like a mountain.
It is impossible to get near that fire. They put up two poles opposite each other.
Between those two poles they stretch a rope for Abraham, or rather rubber, they stretch it, seat him between the two poles and, after lighting that fire, fling him in there.
When Abraham (peace be upon him) was thrown into the fire with the catapult, Allah Almighty says to the fire: Be coolness and safety.
Allah Almighty's heat burns, and His cold burns too. For example, if you put your hand on iron at 50 degrees of coolness, of cold, it burns your hand, grips it. Be safety, He says. With the word safety it turns into a place where a person can live. And that place, like a garden of Paradise, becomes lush green.
Because the opposite of fire is cold, and it burns a person. At minus fifty, sixty degrees, when a person grips a piece of iron with his hand, the skin of his hand (?) to that piece of iron. When Abraham (peace be upon him) fell into the middle of the fire, the middle became greenery and safety for him. According to one narration, the present-day Balıklı Göl in Urfa is that very place. Yes.
