Tafsir
Hadrat Isaac and Hadrat Ya'qub 'alaihis-salâm' were among the righteous. These are the Prophets of Allah. They are the ones who show the right path to people according to Allah's command. Because Allah is merciful to human beings, He sends prophets and scholars to help people find the right path in the realm of property, which is the realm of the unseen, out of His grace and mercy.
Allah teaches people what they do not know. He revealed to Hadrat Isaac and Hadrat Ya'qub to pray, pay zakat and do good deeds. The Prophets of Allah do not seek help and support from anyone other than Allah. In this respect, they are those who have surrendered to Allah wholeheartedly and continue their worship and devotion.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 73. Yes, we are reading the wrong version of the verse. We made them leaders guiding to the right path in accordance with Our command. We revealed to them to do good deeds, to perform the prayer and to give zakat. They were always people who worshipped Us, it says. Now here it says, We made them leaders guiding to the right path in accordance with Our command. Whereas they were Allah's command-following, right-path-guiding leaders.
Yes, they were leaders who followed Allah's command and guided to the right path. We revealed to them to do good deeds, to perform the prayer and to give zakat. They are people who always worship Us.
And indeed, saying here that they are people who always worship Us shows that, of their own will, they were people who had submitted to Allah Almighty. Isaac and Jacob (peace be upon them) are among the righteous. They are Allah's prophets. They are the ones who show people the right path according to Allah's command. Because Allah has mercy on people, in the world of dominion, which is the unseen world, He helps people, out of His grace and generosity, by sending them prophets and scholars, to find the right path. Allah teaches people what they do not know, and to Isaac and Jacob (peace be upon them) too He revealed to perform the prayer, to give zakat and to do good deeds. Allah's prophets do not hope for help and support from anyone other than Allah. In this respect they are people who have submitted to Allah from the heart and continue in their obedience and worship.
