Translation

We accepted him (Lot) to Our mercy, for he was among the salih (righteous).

Tafsir

Allah accepted Lot into His mercy. This is because Allah accepts all good deeds and grants them to people out of His grace and bounty and makes them attain high ranks.

Since Hadrat Lut 'alaihis-salâm' was one of the righteous, that is, one of the Prophets, when his people ostracized Hadrat Lut 'alaihis-salâm' in the face of his warnings to his people and warned them not to interfere in what he was doing, Hadrat Lut 'alaihis-salâm' was helpless against these immoral people and took refuge in Allah (swt). Allah (swt) is the guardian and protector of those who take refuge in Him. In this respect, it was because Hadrat Lut took refuge in Allah (swt) that Allah (swt) took Hadrat Lut (swt) under His mercy.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 75. Him, Lot, We admitted into Our mercy, for he was among the righteous, it says. Allah Almighty admitted Lot (peace be upon him) into His mercy. Because Allah accepts and approves in His presence all good deeds that are done, and, out of His grace and His kind generosity, increasing people's humanity, He lets them attain high ranks. There is something on our glasses, it doesn't see well.

Since Lot (peace be upon him) too was among the righteous, that is, the company of the prophets, in response to the warnings of Lot (peace be upon him) to his people, his people (?) Lot (peace be upon him) and warned him not to interfere with what they did, Lot (peace be upon him) was left helpless against these immoral people, and took refuge in Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty is the guardian and protector of those who take refuge in Him. In this respect, because Lot (peace be upon him) took refuge in Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty took Lot (peace be upon him) under His mercy.
