Al-Anbya 79: And We made Solomon understand this (judgment). We gave to both of them provision (rule and Prophethood) and knowledge. And We made the birds and the worshipping mountains, submit to David. We have been making (these) happen.

And We made Solomon understand this (judgment). We gave to both of them provision (rule and Prophethood) and knowledge. And We made the birds and the worshipping mountains, submit to David. We have been making (these) happen.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) taught this fatwa to Prophet Solomon, for He is just and free from all deficient attributes. Allah gave Prophethood and knowledge to Hadrat David and Hadrat Solomon.

According to the verse (The earth and the heavens and all that is between them know the remembrance of their Lord), the atoms of all matter and the positive and negative nuclei in these atoms, when they rotate around their axis, remember Allah. Every moving object emits both a sound and a frequency wave. When there is a receiver of that frequency, one can hear those sounds within that frequency. Allah (swt) made Hadrat David (as) hear the frequency code of the mountains and stones and Hadrat David (as) used to join in the dhikr of the mountains and stones and he used to dhikr with them. The birds and the mountains have become submissive to David because Allah (swt) has made the birds and the mountains aware of the language of the birds and the mountains, in return for Allah (swt) making their dhikr known to David (pbuh).

What is said in the video

We have come to verse 79 of Surah Al-Anbiya. Thus We had explained this, this ruling, to Solomon. To each of them We gave sovereignty, prophethood and knowledge. And We made the birds and the glorifying mountains subservient to David. It is We who do these things, He says. David (peace be upon him), in the early morning hours: with the mountains and stones let me remember You, my Lord, at dawn with the birds let me remember You, my Lord. Yes, the mountains and stones, the hearing of their remembrance, He made David (peace be upon him) hear. We said it before too: in every object, every created being, in its cells, its atoms, there are neutrons and protons, nuclei, electrons. As they rotate around their own axes, they make a sound.

Even though we do not hear it, Allah Almighty says the heavens and the earth and those on these two sides have known the remembrance of their Lord, He says. The aim in His doing this: just as a factory produces a product and takes out a patent on it, Allah Almighty too, by making these beings remember His essence, that besides Allah there is no god at all, by symbolizing that.

Since Allah Almighty is just and exalted above deficient attributes, He taught Solomon this ruling. Allah gave David and Solomon (peace be upon them) prophethood and knowledge.

He also let David (peace be upon him) hear the remembrance of the birds and the mountains. The earth and the heavens and those between these two have known the remembrance of their Lord: according to this verse, the atoms of all matter and the positive and negative nuclei in these atoms, when they rotate around their own axes, remember Allah. Every object that is in motion both makes a sound and emits a frequency wave. When one is a receiver of that frequency, a person can hear those sounds within that frequency. Allah Almighty also let David (peace be upon him) hear the mountains' and stones' frequency code, and David (peace be upon him), joining in the remembrance of the mountains and stones, would himself engage in remembrance together with them.

So, His saying "We made the birds and the glorifying mountains subservient to David": the remembrance they performed, Allah Almighty let David (peace be upon him) hear it, in return for which he became versed in the language of the birds and mountains, and because of that the birds and mountains came to be submissive to David (peace be upon him).
