Translation

Then We accepted his prayer and gave John (John The Baptist - Yahya) to him. And We made his wife capable (of bearing a child). Verily, they were rushing after matters of goodness and supplicate to Us with hope and fear. And they were deeply respectful towards Us.

Tafsir

Allah also accepted the prayer of Hadrat Zakariyya. He gave him a son who would be his heir. It is narrated that Hazrat Zakariyya was a hundred years old and his wife was ninety-nine years old when he asked Allah for a son who would be his heir. Although he was old and his wife was barren, Allah has power and knowledge. He is omnipotent. He creates what He wills.

All these Prophets have a deep reverence for Allah (swt) and they strive for good and good deeds. They sought Allah's pleasure. They both feared Allah and hoped for His mercy.

Zakariyya 'alaihis-salâm' was a descendant of Solomon 'alaihis-salâm'. He was the head of the Bayt al-Muqaddes. He was also a Prophet. His son Yahya was granted Prophethood at a young age. He was martyred because he did not give a fatwa in accordance with the wishes of Hadrat Hiredus, the head of Beni Israel, as he was ruled by the Shari'ah of Hadrat Jesus (peace be upon him). This event took place about a year before the ascension of Jesus (pbuh) to heaven. The oppressors who killed their Prophet were punished by Allah (swt) as they deserved. Their homeland was devastated, their generations cut off.

What is said in the video

We accepted his prayer. We gave him John. And We made his wife fit to bear a child for him. They, all these prophets, hasten in good deeds. They would call on Us in hope and in fear. They were in deep reverence before Us.

Even if we cannot feel how deep their reverence was, that deep reverence, (?) our tears does not stop.

Allah Almighty also accepted the prayer of Zechariah.

He granted him a son who would be his heir. When Zechariah asked Allah Almighty for a son to be his heir, he was 100 years old, and his wife was 99 years old, it is narrated. Although he was old and his wife barren, Allah possesses power and knowledge. He is capable of everything. What He wants, what He wills, He creates. Allah. All these prophets are in deep reverence towards Allah Almighty. And they hasten to good and to goodness. They seek Allah's pleasure. They both fear Allah and hope for Allah's mercy. Zechariah (peace be upon him) is from the lineage of Solomon (peace be upon him). He was the head of Bayt al-Maqdis.

At the same time he is a prophet. His son John (?) was granted prophethood. Since John (peace be upon him) was bound by the law of Jesus (peace be upon him), because he did not give a fatwa in line with the wish of Herod, the head of the Children of Israel, he was martyred.

What is the fatwa that Herod wanted? The ruler of the town.

He wants to give his older sister's daughter to Herod. That is, to his brother.

Herod's sibling has a daughter. That is, his older sister has a daughter. He wants to give his older sister's daughter to Herod. He summons John. He asks for a fatwa. He wants him to perform the marriage. I will not perform the marriage, he says. Why? I go by the language of Jesus, he says. But in the language of Moses, he says, performing the marriage is allowed. He says. John tells him curtly: I go by the language of Jesus. Yet in no prophet's religion is there marriage with one's sister's daughter, that is, of a girl with her maternal uncle. Whatever Allah Almighty said in the beginning, it is the same in eternity.

Here the verse manifests itself. The rabbis changed Allah's verses in exchange for material gain. How well it shows in this verse. Those who sell Allah's word for material gain. This event, about a year before Jesus (peace be upon him) was raised to heaven, took place. And the wrongdoers who killed their prophets, the punishment they deserved from Allah Almighty they received. Their homelands were ruined, their lineage was cut off and vanished.
