And when finally the barriers of Gog and Magog (their wall barrier) will be opened and they will flock out from the hills.
Tafsir
In this verse, Allah (swt) foretells the beginning of the Day of Judgment. Ye'jjj and Me'jjj are behind a wall built by Zulqarnayn. On the Day of Judgment, this wall will collapse and the two great tribes of Ye'jjj and Me'jjj will spread out. They will be unspeakable and savage people. They will attack people's civilization and wreak havoc.
Zulqarnayn, who was the ruler of Yemen at the time, was also a person who was blessed with Allah's favor and knowledge. During one of his travels, when he arrived in a town called Beynesseddeyn, the people there complained to Zulqarnayn about Ye'jjj and Me'jjj. They reported that these two tribes were disobedient and plundered everything in their path and asked for Zulqarnayn's help. So Zulqarnayn filled the valley of the two mountains with iron, lit a fire, melted the iron, poured molten copper over it and made this wall impenetrable with bronze. As we have explained in the previous verses, this wall will be destroyed on the Day of Resurrection. It is behind this wall that Ye'jjj and Me'jjj will emerge, and they will spread throughout the world and plunder everything in their path, as the verse says when they come from every hill.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 96 of Surah Al-Anbiya. At last, when the barriers of Gog and Magog are opened and they swarm from every hill, at that time, Allah Almighty in this verse gives news of the beginning of the Day of Judgment. Gog and Magog are behind a barrier that Dhul-Qarnayn built. At the Day of Judgment this barrier will be torn down, and Gog and Magog, as two great tribes, will spread out. They are people who listen to no reason, and savage. They will attack people's civilizations and lay waste to everything. Dhul-Qarnayn, the ruler of Yemen at the time, was also a person who had received Allah's grace and generosity, His favor, and the knowledge He gave him.
During this journey they complain to Dhul-Qarnayn. During one of his journeys, when he reaches a land called Beyne's-Seddeyn, the people there complain about Gog and Magog to Dhul-Qarnayn. Telling him that these two tribes would not listen to reason and plundered whatever came before them, they asked Dhul-Qarnayn for help. And Dhul-Qarnayn filled the valley between the two mountains with iron, lit a fire, melted the iron, and when he poured molten copper over it, this barrier (?) an impassable state of bronze. As we also explained in the earlier verses, this barrier will be shattered at the Day of Judgment.
Then Gog and Magog, who remain behind this barrier, will come out; in the verse where He says "when they swarm from every hill", they will spread over the world and plunder everything that comes before them.
