Translation

If they were deities, they would not enter there. But they will all (worshippers and idols) remain there eternally.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) proves in this verse that there is no other deity besides Himself. He says that the objects that people worship (if they were gods, they would not have entered there (Hell)). God means to create out of nothing. It also means one who rules over his creation. If they were gods, they would guide their worshippers and lead them to salvation, and they would not lead both themselves and their worshippers to Hell.

Therefore, it is not the work of intelligent people to worship idols made with their own hands by people who are ignorant of themselves and call them gods. Moreover, by exploiting people and making people worship them, the clever ones of the people buy the eternal abode of torment instead of the eternal abode of bliss in the Hereafter for the sake of a few pennies of worldly benefit. If these were truly gods, the idols themselves would not have entered Hell and become its eternal inhabitants and fuel. So all creation is Allah's creation. There is no other god besides Him. Those who betray Allah and associate partners with Him, including the partners they associate with, will remain in Hell for eternity. They will never come out of there again.

What is said in the video

Verse 99 of Surah Al-Anbiya. Had they been gods, they would not have entered there, into Hell. Yet all of them, worshippers and worshipped alike, will remain there forever. Allah Almighty proves that there is no other god besides Himself in this verse as well. If the things people worship were gods, they would not have entered there, into Hell, He says. God means creating from nothing. (?) means ruling over what He created. If these were gods, they would guide those who worship them and bring them to salvation. They would not have themselves and those who worship them put into Hell. So, worshipping idols made by the hands of people who are unaware of themselves, and calling them gods is not the work of sensible people.

Moreover, the sharp minds among people, by exploiting people, by making people worship these, for a worldly gain of a few pennies, are those who, in the Hereafter, instead of the abode of eternal bliss, buy the abode of eternal torment. So, had these truly been gods, the idols themselves would not have entered Hell and become its eternal dwellers and fuel. So all created things are Allah's creations. There is no other god besides Him. Those who betray Allah by associating partners with Him, including the partners they associate. They will remain there forever, in Hell. Nor will they ever come out of there again.
