Al-Anbya 100: There is only weeping there for them and they will not hear anything (good) there.

We left off at verse 100 of Surah Al-Anbiya.

There, moaning and groaning is their lot. And there they hear no good news. That is, those who do not believe in Allah and His Messenger, who pass on to the Hereafter as non-Muslims — of course they will moan inside that fire, what else would they do? Inside that torment, how could a person not writhe? Nor do they hear any good news. That is, they hear no news saying: you will come out at such a time, or Allah will forgive you, or you too in the end will get out of here. That is good news. As Allah Almighty makes known in His verses, Hell is the place of a life full of pain and grief and suffering.

As the case may be, in the face of the unbearable pains of a tormenting life such as burning or scorching, it is a place of crying out and moaning. So those who turned their backs on Allah in the world, who denied Allah and the Hereafter and did not believe in that Day of Reckoning, while writhing and moaning in eternal, endless pains, wait for some help and news of rescue from around them. In response to this waiting of theirs, Allah Almighty says of them: there they hear no good news. That is, no news of rescue, that they will come out of Hell, reaches them from anyone. They have now become eternal fuel of Hell in Hell.

May Allah (?) all of us, the community of Muhammad, from such a torment.
