Al-Hajj 2: On that Day, behold, nursing mothers will forget about their children and pregnant women will leave their load. And you will see people wandering like drunks, but they are not drunk. But Allah’s punishment is severe.

Surah Al-Hajj, verse 2: On the day you see it, every nursing woman will forget the child she nurses, every pregnant woman will miscarry her child. And you will see people as if drunk, yet they are not drunk, but Allah's punishment is very terrible. Yes, may Allah protect us from those days. May He also protect the Muslims, our brothers in Islam, who will see those days. In the earthquake of the Hour, people have understood that the world is breaking apart, that the order of this universe will be destroyed, and that they will perish. At this moment Allah Almighty tells in what state people will be.

You cannot find in any person the compassion and love a nursing mother has for her child. Because Allah loves people very much, He wanted them to grow up with compassion and love. Because of this will He gave mothers a special love and compassion for their children. What people call maternal feelings, and the love and compassion mothers feel for their children, come from this. Therefore, showing us as an example the love and affection of nursing mothers for their children, a love and affection in which their children are more to them than their own lives, that mothers, from the severity and fear of that moment in the earthquake of the Hour, will forget their children and go after saving their own lives and selves: this He tells us.

From the fear and terror of this moment, pregnant women will also miscarry their children. And people are in the state of drunkards. Yet people are not drunk. Their being in this state is due to the fear and panic the earthquake of the Hour gives people. Just as when a person drinks alcohol, the brain cells are numbed by its effect and the person is not aware of what he is doing. He cannot think, cannot use his mind; likewise the fear and terror at the moment of the Hour drive a person out of his mind, and they become unable to think, like drunkards. Yet they are not drunk. It is from the fear the Hour gives people and from the great severity of Allah's punishment that they come to this state.

And the greatest of their fears is: alas, what Allah said, (?), has come upon us. And we did not believe in Allah. And we wasted our lives. Even if they say, O Allah, now we believe in You, it is of no use. Because it is written in the decrees; however much they say it, these are words spoken out of fear. Allah Almighty gives examples all the time anyway. On a dark night, a pitch-dark night, He says. As the ship sails on, wave upon wave, bringing the ship to the point of sinking, what does He say: if you put out your hand, you will not see your hand, in such pitch darkness. They pray to Allah, He says.

When they get out, when We save them and they get out, they again return to their old ways, He says. Yes. What beautiful examples He gives. At the moment the Hour breaks out, the doors of repentance are closed. Because the event has now come to pass. The door of repentance is closed. There is no more repentance for it. Yes.

So, O man, think and reflect. Allah, who created you, tells you all events in their naked truth.

Yes, be a servant to Allah and of the community of His Beloved, so that you may find salvation. One does not defy Allah, one does not bargain with Him. The absolute power in His dominion is Allah. What He says is the truth. Leaving the straight path Allah has shown, falling for the temptation of the nafs and Satan, do not turn your back on Allah.

Do not stray from Allah's straight path and fall into deviant ways. Continue to obey and worship Allah, so that you enter among those Allah loves. You will not see the earthquake of the Hour, will not suffer people's fearful moment and the painful punishment, you will not be exposed to these events.
