There are some people who argue about Allah without knowledge, and who follow every stubborn devil (shaytan).
Tafsir
Allah (swt) has created human beings incomplete intellectually. In this respect, humans are incomplete and faulty. Allah is complete and perfect. All creatures cannot find any deficiency in Allah (swt), and those who seek deficiency in Allah (swt) are revealing their own deficiencies. In this respect, people cannot know Allah (swt) by the decisions of their own souls and intellect, without any knowledge of Allah (swt). Allah (swt) has pity on people and sends them Prophets, Books and scholars.
Whoever does not read these Books, does not judge by the Qur'an, the last of Allah's Messages, lives in ignorance of them, and accepts the temptations that Satan gives him because they are pleasing to his ego, such people have turned away from Allah. When those who do not use their intellect and turn their backs on Allah, when they turn away from Allah, the friend of such people is Satan.
Therefore, these people, subject to every stubborn shaytan, without any knowledge of Allah, begin to argue against the scholars who explain Allah (swt) with false and baseless words. Although they do not know the truth and the right, they cannot compromise their stubbornness and arrogance and their ego. They cannot judge by the true words of Allah (swt).
The meaning of the verse (from every stubborn devil) is that Satan worshipped Allah (swt) so much on earth that he became the teacher of the angels. However, since he did not prostrate himself to our Prophet Adam, he deliberately opposed Allah (swt) by being stubborn. In this respect, every stubborn person has been introduced to people as a devil.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Hajj, verse 3: Among people, without knowledge, there are some who argue about Allah and follow every obstinate devil, He says.
Allah Almighty created people deficient in intellect. Therefore people are deficient and fallible. Allah Almighty, however, is complete and perfect. Just as no created being can find deficiency in Allah Almighty, those who look for deficiency in Allah Almighty expose their own deficiency. Therefore people, without knowledge about Allah, with the decisions of their own nafs and mind, cannot know Allah Almighty. Because Allah Almighty has pity on people, He sends them prophets, books and scholars. Yes. We say Allah Almighty is complete and perfect. Because He created everything complete and perfect.
When a person says, if only He had created this like that, he exposes his own deficiency. Because there is nothing more perfect than what He created. There is nothing more perfect than what Allah Almighty created. That is, nothing else is above it. If there were, it would break down. If it went beyond that, it would break down. That is why this is complete and perfect. But if a person finds a deficiency in that creation, he will have revealed his own deficiency. So whoever does not read these books, does not take as his rule the Quran, the last one Allah sent, lives unaware of them, and accepts the temptation Satan gives him because it pleases his nafs, the temptations of Satan: such people have become distant from Allah.
Although the mind knows what is right, those who do not use their minds and turn their backs on Allah, when they become distant from Allah, the friend of such people is Satan too. Now, Hodja, how are we to use our minds?
(?) didn't He create your minds deficient? And we took the crooked as straight. Don't we? We do. We take the crooked as straight. When Allah Almighty says use your minds, He also says reflect. (?) What does reflection mean? You think something is right, but when you hear something more, research it. Because the mind, He says, knows what is right. You took that crooked thing as right, but when the truth is explained to you: so I knew it this way. This is really a wrong thing. And this is the right one. We say, that is, we say this. So how did we use our minds? We used our minds by reflecting, criticizing, comparing.
We will make comparisons. Which of the statements is more correct? Which is better? Well, in this way your mind will judge for you what is right. You may still have taken the right as crooked. But just as Allah Almighty confirms His verses with one another, people too, when they speak, show through events that they are right, that is, that the matter really is this way, they explain to people. Now some people, who have no knowledge of the future, by their own minds again take the wrong as right. They take the wrong as right. When the time comes and they see the right, they say, oh, we were mistaken.
Isn't that so? Yes. And those of the past, we were mistaken here, this was right, don't they say that? That is why a person judges by his mind; when he sees the right (?). So we will reflect and distinguish right from crooked. In the events we live through, in the deeds we have done, in what we will do, we will consult one another. What does He say anyway? Consult one another. Because we don't know the future, after all; there is good in that consultation. Yes, therefore these people, following (?), knowledge about Allah (?), against the scholars who explain Allah Almighty, with false and groundless, unfounded words, they object and begin to argue. And what does Allah Almighty say in His verse anyway?
Man is a being very open to argument, He says; he loves to argue. Why does he love to argue? Let us put the point on this for you. A person of sound mind argues with a scholar, and knowing the right, still argues for the wrong. He wants to argue. Why? Even if he is a scholar who has (?) his nafs, his own nafs, his pride cannot stomach it. But he understands the right. In this case, as long as a person has not brought his nafs to perfection, he is ready to argue. And look at those whose nafs has reached perfection: when something is said, yes, you are right, they say. No argument at all. I knew it this way, but yes, yours was right, they say.
There is no argument in this. That is why, in the religion of Islam, by reforming the human nafs, so that people can live among one another without argument, within the truth, a good life, Allah Almighty has put the verses before us; come on, He says, live in this world as in a festive mood. But where? Look at these people: from the whims of their nafs, those who recognize neither Allah nor book nor prophet, those who, to take the world, count human life as nothing. Those who suck blood like vampires. Those who go off with ideologies and destroy millions of people. Those who (?) people from their homes and lands for money.
Those who kill people. Well, is there no room in hell? Allah's word is true. It will be waiting in hell. For whom? For such oppressors. Yes. Although they do not know the truth and the right, out of obstinacy and arrogance, we said "do not know" here. Although they know the truth and the right, out of obstinacy and arrogance, from their nafs, they cannot make concessions. They cannot abide by the true words of Allah Almighty. The meaning of "every obstinate devil" in the verse: because Satan (?) obeyed and worshipped Allah Almighty a great deal, he rose as far as being the teacher of the angels.
But because he did not prostrate to our forefather Adam, he knowingly and obstinately opposed even Allah Almighty. Yes.
Therefore He made every obstinate devil known to people as a devil.
One meaning of obstinate devil: Satan knows Allah. He knows that Allah is Allah, that He is God. He knows there is no god other than Him. But out of obstinacy, obstinacy and, well, his grudge, because of (?) prostrating to Adam, he rebelled against Allah and was cursed. So when He says they follow every obstinate devil, those people too know the right, because Allah gave man a mind that knows the right; these people too, although they know the right, the path that devil went, the path of that arrogance, the arrogance his nafs told him, they follow, and in this way follow every obstinate devil. Among people, those who without knowledge argue about Allah and follow every obstinate devil, those who follow, there are some such people, He says. Those without knowledge about Allah follow the devil, every obstinate devil.
